Would rather have a completely flat, durable surface such as vinyl flooring...24 sq ft is about $40 or $50 and looks great imo. Also you loose small parts, screws in the black... white or grey much better visibility.

Howdy bud! Absolutely, it came out better the second go around. I think the key is multiple layers, until you get the desired texture. So far, I have tossed my lawn mower, weed eater and daughter's bike up on it, and it's handled the abuse like a champ!
