The shift indicator is powered on full time, connected to a blue/red wire coming down from the center bulkhead connector. Spliced to the tan wire (power to blower motor).

Interesting. Wasn't aware that is powered on full time. Haven't checked the diagram yet.

Love the wheels on the foxbody. Do you know of any good 4 lug brake setups???

Pretty limited when sticking to 4 lug. LMR has a SVE kit with everything for a 4 lug rear conversion. There are plenty of front 4 lug upgrades out there, just depends on your budget.

Here is my video on the heater refurb. I replaced the blower with a larger one. kzread.info/dash/bejne/o2uWtrKNXbHfftI.html Also, if you feel the air volume is low try reversing the wires. Maybe it’s spinning backwards. Just some ideas to try. I don’t think rewiring your switch does anything. The high setting should be full power to the blower. The switch only controls the ground side.

From what I had found on a forum (that I will never be able to find again, lol) The full speed on the button was not full power to the fan. But I haven't look at the diagram for this one either.... There isn't great air volume at all.

@@WhitetailGarage - Just checked my 66. There is a .450V drop on the hot side. Batt>ign>fuse>blower. There is .500V drop across the neg side. Blower>resistor>switch>dash ground. Jumping power to battery = no noticeable increase in fan speed. Jumping ground side to batt neg = no noticeable increase in fan speed. I’m sure the blower motor is producing more torque as the voltage drop across the motor went from 11.0V to 11.9V, batt at 12.35V at test start. There was a noticeable increase in fan speed with the fan wired directly to the batt. So the only way to get that increase would be to wire a DPDT relay directly to the blower via a fusible link so both ground and power would bypass the harness voltage losses. Good luck. Not sure that’s worth it, it sounds like either the blower motor wires are reversed or there is a problem getting power to the motor or through the switch on the ground side.
