This episode really brought back some really nice memories. The concrete leaf you purchased reminded me of the ones my husband and I did about 15 years ago using our huge elephant ears. I loved that craft and he did too. We had some really good times. Now we did concrete for outdoor use and we made some to display in our home using plaster of paris.Anyway just wanted to let you know how much your channel blesses me. My husband passed away in 2017 and I had not thought of those leaves in years, I've been smiling now just remembering.

Oh, Mary, I would love to see a dollhouse made and decorated by you. I love making dollhouses and miniatures in 1:12 scale. It is such a rewarding hobby that makes other people smile when they see it, whether from nostalgia or just from the aspect of seeing a 5 or 6 foot cabinet made as a 5 or 6 inch replica. Such a fun thing to do and I have no doubt your's would be as amazing as everything else you create! TFS Lov your channel.

Across from OTP is a thrift store called Furniture with a Heart. They get neat pieces in there all the time. Prices are hit or miss, but I've found lots of nice things in there.

Great finds especially the rocking chair. I hope you decided to keep it. The doll house was beautiful I can’t wait to see you make your dream come true and build a dollhouse. My aunt was very much into dollhouse miniatures and she made some amazing miniatures. I can’t wait to see what you do with your finds from the garage sales.

Mary-this was so much fun! Thanks to John for filming you-all the "stuff" and the Car Show was a great surprise bonus. My aunt used to race way back in the day on a dirt track in north Louisiana...early 70's and she drove a blue Charger. The women could only race each other and it was called the "PowderPuff" event -she won many times! The women weren't allowed to race in the men's races. Wow-haven't times changed for the better. Thanks again for bringing us along on y'all's adventure. Cannot wait to see what you do with all of these items. I want to see that outfit upclose where the bottom of your skirt had layers of lace. It looked beautiful.

Mary, when you said it was on your bucket list to make a house or doll house, it popped into my head that a replica of your house would be great! I bet it would really sell!

Such interesting things you found, what fun searching, but funnily enough it's the grey blue stool you sat on that most caught my eye. When I was little many years ago every household had at least one stool like that, a workhorse that was a seat, a stepladder, a side table with a cloth on it, and much repaired. So useful, and simple to create from basic materials. We have some old fence planks hanging about and now i want to make myself a childhood stool. I forgot to say, those stools were perfect as playtime tea tables with miniature tea sets, or just right to make models on with plasticine, as I said, very useful. 😊 It will be a treat to see what you do with your treasures in days to come. 😊👍

What fun! I went to an Antique store recently & was pleasantly surprised how reasonable & clean everything was for most part. I found 2 copper heart shaped molds reminded me of my mom in law years ago & one has ducks embossed into it. Love them copper accents to go with my cannisters. So fun. Also a beautiful picture frameOh & hand embroidered post cards to send to friends. So pretty. Anyway thanks for sharing love garage sale finds. This summer our neighborhood had a huge block 4 day sale! I snagged some vintage outdoor dishes with a holder a wooden Michigan plaque & many other items for very reasonable. Enjoy recreating your furniture finds!

We did a 25 mile yard sale this past weekend in Fredericksburg Virginia. Had the back of our truck loaded. Loads of fun

Gees that black metal holder ! ! I had bought something similar in Lake Placid (I'm from Canada) about 40 years ago. It was an oil lamp holder and the oil lamp and the ornate wall bracket were included in the purchase. It was cast iron and very heavy. I loved it's uniqueness and installed it in a log cabin I used to have in the countryside at the time. When I sold the cabin a few years later, the buyer absolutely wanted me to leave it in the cabin. Never could find something so nice again since.

I love Old Time Pottery. I live in Charlotte, NC and we have one. It takes me a long time to get through ours. I loved it when John picked up the STOP sign...too cute. At times I felt I was watching two teenagers, sweetest thing ever. So enjoy your videos. Next time!

I love these kinds of trips, yard sales are definitely my thing and my daughter! The Old Time Pottery store looked at lot like the At Home store. I was in your neck of the woods from VA from Aug 13- Sept 13th helping my daughter move. I had so much fun We caught a market and hit a lot Goodwills and other thrifts stores to furnish her apt. Super fun. I’m so excited about your haul and embarking on a new page with your husband!

Yeah old time pottery is one of my favorite stores I actually bought a quilted purse there about 15 years ago and I use it for sewing notions and I just love it and it never even fell apart or anything
