Lots of bright colors on those houses and buildings. The bright blue door with the yellow house was particularly striking!

Yes, it has a simplistic allure to it.

I've loved Lori Loughlin as an actress for so long, it's tough for me to see her going through all of this - even though it was of her own making. :-( Never did watch this particular Hallmark series though so couldn't appreciate the locations. However, I can appreciate the beauty and charm of the town!

Finally an upbeat video, hope there will be more.

It's the last mostly white affluent and arguably decent urban village left in Metro Vancouver. And it's the oldest and most historic area, so they don't allow Burger King or McDonald's to come here...thank god!! I think you need to make $50,000 a year just to be homeless here...LOL.

Linescrew1 Well I guess can pretty much cross that off my list. LOL St Lou is more homeless friendly. We even have church groups that drive around in vans downtown and on the Mississippi Riverfront delivering sandwiches and blankets to the many homeless who seem to come out of the woodwork in Spring and Summer.

We have no church groups that service the needy here, as there are none. Most of us residents are college graduates and can fend for ourselves here. BUT if they wanted to give me a Welfare BMW or a free trip to Tahiti as charity, I might consider taking it!! (seriously, we don't have homeless in my area of town, but they do in other areas). And we have little crime. It's sad, if you came to visit you would be very bored. We have one bank, one liquor store, one pub, one gas station, a few coffee shops, and the rest of the town is all art galleries, bakeries and restaurants. The only fast food we have is a subway. Of course, violence and mayhem is only a 35 minute drive away in downtown Vancouver...LOL.

Police only come to this town if they are invited or they want to kill some time and have lunch. And we actually have many guns here but they sit in closets collecting dust. Guns are a part of our history here and we are the birthplace of British Columbia. But we don't have any bad people to shoot with the guns. And PLEASE, don't sent us any. We don't want them here.
