Lol we've been living in difficult times for the longest , as human beings I think we will never get this right without worldwide love, compassion,patience, understanding, and devalue everything and get rid of the monetary system and money which is the number one cause for everybody's problems in this world nobody seems to want to admit that money and monetary system have enslaved mankind spiritually psychologically and physically,,, there shouldn't be no homelessness and it shouldn't be any prostitution clear signs us humans have not gotten life right.

I'm glad they removed that lady. You dealt with that situation better than I could.

I’m a recent new subscriber referred by a friend who is embarking this endeavor. Following you is very informative and a wonderful way to make some extra money. I was totally impressed how you handled the situation in regards of your mom. Stopping the video to give clarification on the situation was a good move to protect your and your family’s integrity. And to commend the church in how they do such great work organizing their event in spite of the mishap says about you and your family. Thank you for demonstrating how conflict should be properly handled. It’s easy to get angry but it more courageous to be respectful to all those involved. That makes me proud to be one of your subscribers.

Please don't take this lady's attitude personally. I knew where this was with the first picture. We've been to this sale several times (we live in Franklin County) and encountered similar situations with the same lady. Not all of them with us. As a matter of fact when the camera panned to her my husband said "I knew it was going to be her"! Lol. I respect everything they do over there as well and the time they all put in to getting it all done is amazing. Our experience has been that she is the only person to come across as anything but friendly. I'm not gonna let one rain drop ruin the whole parade so we keep going back. Maybe we'll see you there this year and I can get a sticker.😊

I really appreciate the way you show respect to the workers at all the places you shop. I'm sure they deal with some real "winners", throughout the day! As you said, there's nothing at a sale of second-hand good that you need to get into a fight with someone over. I always say, if you want to see someone's true character, give them a position of power! That "Karen" worker had no authority, but she had a position of power, as a likely volunteer at the same, and she decided she would try and handle a situation that had already been settled, and she had no business or authority in approaching your mother. If she thought there was a problem, she should have discussed it with the person in charge! Many shoppers would not have handled it the same way you did! My only complaint about resellers complaining about prices being so high, is they turn around and sell what they buy, for a price, many times, at least 20-100 times what they paid, and higher, when they go to sell it on eBay. It seems wrong to get upset with people wanting to make as much as they can, knowing how the reseller occupation has grown, and how many resellers they see at their sale. An average person, looking fo items for their family, would benefit from paying half the price of what eBay has shown sold comps for. Resellers just get angry, and make bad comments. I am not referring to any resellers I've watched from the East and Midwest. But it is something to think about. Most of us could never pay for the shoes and name brand clothes you and your friends post on Ebay. It does hurt us, when we see you clean out the store or estate/church sale of all $2-$5 dollar high end items, then turn around and list them for over $100+! This has been my thoughts, and not a criticism of you!

My favorite saying. "This is not up for discussion. Conversation over" Especially, when I've done my due diligence. Your mother was so sweet and its a rummage sale. Geez!

What a sale! Huge and well attended. Felt bad for your mom you defended her but she seemed a little shook after that. You were so kind and polite to others your parents raised a good man. Give your mom a little hug from us.

I have to say first of all thank you so much for posting this. What an effort it is to try and look for the best deals, watch out for your parents, put up with the people who caused trouble… And film it. I don’t know how you do it. And you attacked that rummage sale like a stealthy pro. Which you are, I know that this is not your first rodeo, not your first rummage sale for sure. You’re so nice to people you’re so kind, you looked out for your mom you get major points for that. Then your mom body blocks your IKEA bags, love her! And you really know your stuff. I really enjoyed watching you surf through this antique store/rummage sales/moneymaking event for this church. I appreciate you.

I agree 100%, if you are somewhere on someone’s property or business and they express certain requirements you follow them but when someone assisting on that property states the opposite of what someone in higher authority stated then you have the right to question. You definitely did better then me. I would not have been as calm as you looked to be. Great video. Keep it up

Hi Kevin, I love watching your video. I just started my journey recording my garage sales finds about a month ago.What that guy was talking about at the end is called a Snap Mount. I have been using mines for about a month and I love it. As a girl I feel uncomfortable wearing the gopro body strap so when I found this company I was so happy. It is a magnet that comes in two pieces, one for around your neck and the other attached to the gopro. I never had a problem with it moving in my shirt or the gopro falling. The magnet is incredible strong. So strong you can pinch your finger when the two magnets comes together. All the footage on my youtube is of the old way I wore my gopro so I don't have anything release yet on how much better my footage is. Thanks for all the knowledge and content. Rocket

Your mom's a sweet heart for helping out her son. I'm glad you stood your ground and wasn't letting your mom be bullied. That's how i see it is just bullying. Seeing as your mom was sitting down and the other person was standing, made her an easy target for someone being a head or two above mom. Your a good son.

At 13:08 we had trivets like that in our kitchen growing up. The one that sticks out in my mind is, "The hurrier I go the behinder I get."

Those mushroom items should go fast especially for Fall decorating. I miss going to yard sales and such but I feel like I am there when you share your videos. We are almost neighbors, I'm in Bassett, VA. My brother lives in Lynchburg. I have a lot of kin people from Lynchburg down to Martinsville. It is fun for me to see you here from a place I know. Thanks for sharing and putting a smile on my face and a few tears when I see something my Mom or Sister had.

Awesome explanation of the situation, not that it was necessary. It's actually completely normal for some folks to give instructions that aren't correct these days. Quite often their intentions are positive but their understanding of rules/policies/regulations etc are off base. Hopefully Mom didn't feel too uncomfortable and good for her for continuing to do what she was told by those in charge

22:25 when you were talking about the dishes, there is a console bowl above, in front of your mom, its pale pink and square... I wonder if that is a haeger piece. It would have been worth checking. I have sold a chipped console bowl from haeger before and made a bit of money but thought I would share.

I really love your Macho Man shirt. I liked Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon back in the day. Got to see Shawn Michaels up close one day with my best friend. Boy we’re we excited. You know I was always taught to respect your elders and treat others as you would want to be treated but when someone disrespects your Mom like that it’s so hard not to say anything. That lady was just plain awful. You handled it with so much grace. I’m glad that the other lady came and stuck up for you guys. The only time I er ever had to say something was when an elderly lady actually moved my grocery cart while my child was sitting in it. I turned my head for a second. Now that set me off. I had other people in the store sticking up for me as well. Don’t ever do that to a mother. Ever!!!!! Oh and those mushroom dishes always sell for so much. I had a friend sell the canister set for $350. Why are they so valuable?

I really wanted to look at the dolls, but someone didn't spend a lot of time there. LOL.

The problem with some people that volunteer is that they think that they suddenly have this power of dictatorship. They don't. So sometimes they have to be put in their place. Especially if they are messing with Mom.

I was hollerin at the screen don't forget the Caboodle! lol I only recently found out they had some worth when I started selling off my own from being a kid.

My mom had all that mushroom stuff. I love that mushroom knife block.
