Oh my goodness, the Drowsy Doll! Like Misty, I was born in 1975. My parents gave me a Drowsy Doll when I was little. I never really cared too much for dolls. I always preferred stuffed animals. For some reason, my father got it in his head that I really liked those dolls. So, every time he found one at a garage sale or yard sale, he would bring it home to me. I ended up with nine of them! Many years later, I finally confessed to him that I never really liked them. My dad was shocked and said, “Well, what the heck did I buy all those for?!“. I lost my father a few years ago. Thank you for bringing back such a sweet memory.

This was so much fun! We don’t have any good church sales or thrift stores here. Hawaii is such a small, isolated place. So I love going shopping with you, Misty. And I don’t much like glass either lol ❤

I nearly cried when I saw Drowsy. I still have mine from the 60's. She was my favourite I took her everywhere. She looks a little worse for wear,her hair stands straight up on end but I still love her.

Misty, I thought I was the only person who thinks large paint brushes are cool❤️now I am not alone🥰

I am so excited that garage sales are starting!! I love spending the day with friends going to garage sales. And I love that you picked up 45rpm records. I love to do that too. I have been collecting all the old songs that I listened to when I was a teenager in the mid to late 60's and early 70's. Music makes me happy. 😊

You always find such great deals. I went to my local Goodwill yesterday. I was SHOCKED to see Dollar Tree items selling for $4.99 and $6.99. I got so mad, I couldn’t even talk to the manager. A 25-pack of balloons from DT was $4.99 and an 8-pack of napkins was a whopping $6.99. I took photos of everything and am planning on sending a letter to our regional GW, Goodwill International, and our state Attorney General office. I believe these incredibly inflated prices are violating the mission of GW and constitute a scam. If anyone has any other advice, please leave me a comment.

I couldn’t agree more. Goodwill pisses me off so badly. Th3y receive everything for free and sale all the good stuff online and in auctions. Then hike up the prices on brands they deem valuable. I literally couldn’t shop there if I were poor like who they are supposed to help. It’s sick.

3:04 we used to collect those felt flags when we were kids! 17:19 so much stuff outside to greet you 😊 18:21 the table & chair is a good deal. Metal furniture lasts forever & you can spray paint it whatever color you want. 35:28 the vintage children’s stationery was precious

My neighbor picks up every bronze baby shoe she can find. Her front flower bed is covered with them. She puts them on decorative little stepping stones or small flat logs and plants succulents and small flowers in them. Looks like little baby feet pathways all through her front garden. It is so stinking cute. ❤

Misty, my great grandmother had the little garden tools and we played with them in the late 70s, early 80s. You and I are the same age. The tools look way shinier than hers but I do love the Merry Mushroom holder!

I was jonesing for a shopping video! I also am sick of the glass. I never knew what all the hype was. Love the baby heads! You have so much knowledge it blows my mind. I still have my drowsy doll she is very much worse for the wear... But she was my constant companion starting at age 3. My brother decided to play hospital in drew a scar on her forehead, I still have a wrapped and tucked away. ❤️

What a great shopping day, I think I had as much fun as you! I like going to the antique malls/shops with you because I see some of the things my mom had. I have a phone like that but mine is black and has padding on the top and sides and looks like a jewelry box. I was going to say, Mark is going to ring your neck for getting all of those squeakers. Hello Misty ❤ another great video. I loved the shoe holder, the little dog on it was so cute! What I do for me every month is take £12 out for me. I’m saving really hard for holidays and house repairs so strict budget. That £12 gets me either a couple of coffee trips with friends or an oat milk mocha from my favourite can right by a charity shop! If I don’t spend it I roll it over (never more than a few pence in reality lol)

I was so annoyed I didn’t go into town and see the signs for that sale until Friday night!! I was looking on fb for yardsales around here and never saw that advertised, I probably just missed it. But I did go on Saturday and found a few things I posted a haul from what I grabbed! I saw there were a town of yardsales in Salem and Seymour area this past weekend but I didnt wanna drive that far this weekend bc my daughters dance recital was on Saturday! Great finds! I always love buying the tmnts!

A fun shopping trip! Love the Enid Collins! I got one that was a cable car bucket bag adorned with rhinestones a few years ago for $8 and it sold for $130! I have yet to find another. Love the thrill of the hunt!

I can’t believe the ONE day I take off work to go thrifting/antiquing I go north to Columbus vs staying in Salem! Lol! I’m hoping to run into you one day!! But, Columbus DOES have Chick fil A, so there’s that!
