I knew something looked funny when they were walking up to Mon’s house. I loved that Sam read Nop the way she did. I was right with you because Mon picked and chooses when she would fully stand up for herself. Nop was getting on my nerves so I’m glad she finally said something to him.

"Pong" literally means a thump, but saying it like that with that gesture, it means "(I am) angry (with you)". They had to translate it to "I won't speak with you anymore" here otherwise the foreigners won't ever understand the context. You definitely have to point the thumb right in the face of the person you declare your anger on as well. It's a child gesture though. Normally, only child do that LOL. It's kind of opposite to the offering a pinky gesture that Mon did later on. Offering the pinky means you are asking for a reconcilation and forgiveness.

I agree but some things also have to be said, lot of men be friends with women thinking that one day they'll come out the friendzone, it's very predatory, I'm glad Sam clocked him on that and in the end Mon was glad that Sam brought it up to Nop that he's just a friend. Sam is that one person that will say something everybody is thinking. That's the type of person people be needing.

So something about the swing set scene, when Mon first sits and sam puts her purse on her lap it wasn’t to be like here this is yours, it was more of to cover her up a bit. It’s so subtle and if you don’t know the culture a lot it’s easy to miss. But Sam looks down at mons legs quick and then puts the bag on.
Sam rolls her eyes back when she bites Mon's lip, just like a great white shark does when it bites its prey. Bottom line, Sam is a powerful predator for Mon. And it's fire.
