Awesome video man 👌🤙 Were you just too heavy on the front brake when you had that little stack?

Thanks mate! Yeah, spot on. Hard on the front brakes and locked the front wheel as the fork rebounded.

Been waiting for this video to come out ever since they changed the track. Looks great! Quick question, what gear are you hitting the table top/step up in (where the triple used to be)? It's the only jump I struggle with - I have the same model rmz.

Do you mean the jump at the 2:00 mark? I don't recall there being a triple.

@@LeslieDemeter yeah, that's the jump. I thought it was a triple before they changed the track. Maybe I've just been calling it the wrong thing this whole time.

@@AtTheTrack Yeah right, I know what you mean now exactly, that triple setup was pretty gnarly - I've only seen one person actually triple up that. Anyways, I found 3rd gear to come up short for the second jump (the step up). Just runs out of rpm and power and I don't feel comfortable nailing an upshift in that section. I basically try to jump as small/short as I can on the small double out of the turn and then pop the clutch in 4th to get the drive up the face to clear the step up. However, this often gets me into a nose high situation where I must brake tap because I'm still accelerating as I leave the jump face. I feel like I should try carrying more momentum and really soak up the double and maybe then it might be easier. Other riders have reported similar experiences with that jump.

@@LeslieDemeter Thanks for the info. Good to know I'm not the only one struggling and that others are having similar problems. I reckon I'll try hitting the double a bit short and shifting into 4th before the face of the step up.

My dream bike what year is that 2017? And how does it handle rmz250

It's a 2014. Everyone I have spoken to has complimented its handling, I personally don't have the experience to compare it to other bikes as this is my first bike (owned for almost 2 years).

@@LeslieDemeter how do you find it solo? I got mates who ride. But we usually ride at his place cause he has jumps and ramps ect. But I wanna change and they don’t wanna ever go anywhere else lol

Riding with mates always makes it more fun, but when I went solo I found myself talking with people out near the tracks and finding riders who rode at a similar pace. Otherwise I would just ride lap after lap, like a 15 - 20 minute moto then head back to the carpark for a rest - there is useable phone reception there. Then ride a bit of trails - all pretty short at Gap Creek and no crazy obstacles or wild hillclimbs.
