Agogo Bell lesson was hip! Love the in between bell clicks. Makes the music come to life.
Your green screen work is leaps and bounds better than most people's on youtube.
my friend just told me that if i was an instrument i'd be an Agogo bell so... that's why i'm here
Outstanding presentation and inspiration. So much thoughtful material here. Thx, my good man.

This Brazilian instrument is very good !
Hey, I'm looking to get a hold of a gankogui and am not sure where the best place is to get one - I'm in a rural setting in Northern Alberta, Canada. Any suggestions?
Question! Which is the purpose of the back tip of the gankoui? It seems that it only causes trouble instead of bringing musical possibilities

Hand to hand combat
It would be great if you would show the actual musical notation for your instrument demonstration. Not a complaint, just a suggestion. I enjoy your videos immensely.

Notation was a necessity for long-distance or self-learning prior to modern communication. Notation today is more for clarity and comprehension but is more often used as crutch. For such short instrument demonstration videos I cannot see how the effort of notation would be more helpful than the student rewinding and working through the video 🤷🏾♂️
For some reason that sound remind me. Barry Manilow's, Copacabana song......

So true! Great pickup! Loved playing that tune in junior high back in the day. Trumpets had that cool little part at the bridge 🎺😎

thank you, at 2min mark I was like seriously?...
all that talking and you didn't even say where the names come from. Agogo is the Yoruba word for bell...so it makes since they would also use that term in Brazil (with so much Yoruba heritage and culture there)
Acctually from 2 pianos/orgs
what a slapper
Is there a way that I could pay you to get me a agogo?
