So, Coolio's lyrics,especially the 1st line resonated with me,"As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I take a look at my life and realize there's nothing left...." Addiction made me a slave and I lost everything!Including, my son (5 yrs old at the time) and my daughter (3 yrs old at the time). "Death ain't nothin' but a heartbeat away..." "I'm 23 now but will I live to see 24. The way things are goin' I don't know.." "If THEY can't understand, how can THEY reach me..." POWERFUL LYRICS! I THANK COOLIO FOR THIS GIFT!This song has a very sentimental value to me. I have been in recovery from Crack and heroin since 2004;alcohol since 2011. I SHOULD'VE BEEN DEAD YEEEARS AGO! GOD was definitely watching over me! Now,my mission is to help those strugglin' with addiction/ alcoholism. May Coolio have a FANTASTIC VOYAGE TO THE GANGSTA'S PARADISE IN HEAVEN. SHAKA ZULU! ✌😥

Addiction is a hell of a b**** I shot dope legal from a doctor for 12 years and I will spend the rest of my life understanding that I no longer have anything to work with I go in for a simple procedure and they either have to hit me with something very strong muscular or they go into my chest my neck or my ankle

My kids know all the 90's songs. I keep the music going down my generation to pass down to grandkids. I listen to the 90's more, then music now. Never can stop. My oldest daughter got her friends listening to the 90's.
