I'm technically jobless for 2 years now. I quit a high paying job in a prestigious school in PH. I had anxiety attacks back then because of too much pressure from superiors and parents and work overload as a teacher. My flame vanished. Back then, WINNER was my savior. I found refuge in their songs and it helped me keep my sanity. Now, I'm trying to bounce back to finally return to teaching. IYAH gave me comfort that I dont have to be too hard on myself because Im still Young.. My timeline is just different from others.

Adele's new song just dropped and made me come back here cause her song had the same message about still being young and to stop pressuring me. I listened to Iyah when it came out and I was at a low point in my life but this song was just such a huge comfort. Coming back now a few months later, I'm in a bit of a better place and feeling more optimistic about life, but this still hits home. Yoon, you're a talented guy my man never stop creating your art.

I cried most of the time, praying that she would find her strength and believe in herself when she continuously find herself failing. I believed and continue to believe that she is a smart girl and a gift to me as my eldest . It took her 10 years to finish uni . She just graduated this year. I cried while waiting fo her during her research defense. She is now reviewing diligently for her board exam. Got a great feedback during her last year in uni, working hard to be one the topnotcher on her board exam. People really have their own timeline. Path are sometimes long and winding to some. Never giver up, as you move forward each day, youre getting nearer to your destination.

I read a lot of comments saying this is the pressure of idols. But as a mid-20 person, those lyrics hits hard anyone that feels the pressure to become someone, the pressure to have a successful career and income to be independent but still enough to provide for our family too. No matter how you look at it, I can only remember how we struggle to choose a path, the secure one, the one our parents want, or the one that will make us happy but will ask for a lot of sacrifice too. So what am I supposed to do? The eternal question that hunts every 20s something person.

this song is a manifestation that you need to go slowly with your dreams and your time will come. Thats what happened to their maknaes treasure now.

Being an only child and raised by a single mother, I feel like I don't have a chance for being a kid. My mum got stroke 10 years ago and can't walk until now. Altho my mum never press me to be anything, I feel like a failure to her. Now I'm in early 30s with lame job, single, and just started undergrad degree this year. I feel quite overwhelmed but I can't share my burden to anybody. This song comfort me a lot. And reading all these stories in the comment section is really heartwarming. Reading the comments of those who shared how this song comforts them while they struggle made me think that I myself am also in the same state without realizing it. I am 37 almost 38 in 4 months. Still single with a relationship of 6 years. I am working at the same time, I am in graduate studies. There are times I still don't know what will be my future. Will I get married and have my own family? Will I be able to change the job I have and do the things I really want to do? I still don't know and I feel the time is too short for me. I am already quite old and stuck with the responsibilities of a breadwinner supporting my parents. I have been working nonstop for 18 years but still struggles with finances sometimes not having to enjoy my single life. It is sometimes exhausting. This song tells me that it is ok to feel tired.

this is my everyday song.

beautiful voice, beautiful lyrics and a beautiful man himself!

I love how the comments here telling their own stories of life. I was bawling my eyes out when I heard this song for the first time. I’m 26, never been in a relationship before, an only child with retired parents, working endlessly, providing finances for my family and extended family, and currently battling with disease which requires me to go to a specialized doctor and take blood sample and USG every month and probably using medication for years. I don’t have someone to share all of these challenges so I have to be strong alone. I studied psychology in university, but still it can’t help my mental health, funny huh. I’m struggling financially, mentally, and physically so when I heard this song it felt like it spoke directly to me that i will get through this, it is okay to take a breather, to make mistake, to laugh happily like a child, and to remember that good things will happen. The world is already so harsh so I wish people would be more kind to each other. Thank you for the dark days I’ve spent a little easier because of your songs, Kang Seungyoon. Good Job for this masterpiece, captain! Notes: thank you for all the support. To those who read my story, I hope good days will come to you, and I will be one of the people who’s rooting for you. Lets get our happy ending, guys!

He first wrote this song in 2015 when he was having a hard time. W went to hiatus for 1.5 year despite their massive successful debut. And YHS also critized his songs sound and told Seungyoon who graduated from classic guitar major to drop his guitar. So it wasn't smooth sailing for seungyoon too

This song hits different. I am the eldest and I am pressured because I am my siblings role model. My parents always expects me to do my best so I could help the family. It's been four years since I graduated but until now I didn't have yet the item I've always wanted. This song is a reminder for me to take small steps because eventually I'll get there.

I want to share my own story. The first time I heard KANG SEUNG YOON voice was in the video of "The King of Masked Singers". I didn't know who he was at the time. I just listened to his blue whale singing without realizing it. I shed tears. In fact, it was the first job in my life that was treated unfairly, but I was at a loss. I felt freedom and catharsis from the voice of KANG SEUNG YOON and then I felt less sad. After getting to know him through different videos, I think he is a sincere, hardworking and talented singer. This song describes his story. As a singer, he is not always as glamorous as he is on the stage. His life is like ordinary people will be lost and depressed, but as long as he is determined to move forward like him, the dawn will be ahead and learn to relate to the unfortunate experience of the past. Melt, and then continue to move forward happily. The quality of the songs on the entire album is very high. This is my favorite style of KPOP music. I haven't listened to such good music for a long time, and I have re-acquainted him with his music. I hope everyone can be comforted and support him a lot.

I keep coming back here not just for the song but to read the comment section as well. I want to cheer everyone even if I have family problems on my own. My brother had a stroke last week and just after he went home to recover, we found out that his wife who was tirelessly looking after him is positive with covid. We just didn't know what to do in that situation as my sister-in-law needed to be admitted in a hospital but at the same time we don't want anyone else in my family to get infected. We are still trying to figure it out until now. I am also here to remind everyone that money, career and achievements are also not the most important when you have a family member who are too sick to take care of themselves. Please appreciate your good health as well and your own family being healthy.

Take care of yourself as well. One thing I learned is that sickness doesn’t only tear down the sick person but also the ones caring for them. So please don’t forget to also care for yourself. Praying for healing for your family.

And the calendar also shows 2014,Winner's debut year.This scene also shows him forcing a smile and having a hard time even after his long awaited debut.This is probably bcs of the weight of being a celebrity with so many hardships dealing with the world constantly telling you what to do and treating you like you dont have feelings The lyrics during that part was also "Turning around after thinking I took off my first steps" indicates that he probably had thought to step back from being an artist even though he has been passionate about it since his early days.Which are shown in the later scene,when he was a highscooler and even as a toddler. This hits me bcs i had passion to do music as well but i gave up bcs no one supported me to pursue my dreams so I ended up being a delivery boy.I cried hearing this song man you better stream this
