Ngl the fight scenes in this season were not as good as the first. If anyone didn’t know Gareth Evans directed most of the fights in the first season which is why they were so amazing!

*The part where he drags the mic stand* behind him looked amazing until they ruined it with the CG blood splatter on the camera.. Season 2, as a whole just wasn’t as gripping as Season 1 tbh

Facts the storyline of Sean was to much. Like he isn't the hero of the story and they keep trying to push him at the forefront of this show when the gravity surely was with our black hero!!!

Garreth Evans didn't direct any of the episodes for season 2, in season 1 he directed about 5 episodes lol with the best action

Fell downhill when Gareth Evans stopped directing it

Hopefully once his movie with Tom Hardy is done he will direct season 3's action sequences again. Season 2's were still good but really lacked the Gareth Evans touch.

@@lottonthewizard4352 Evans really does have a singular way of doing action that. noone has been able to reproduce. Stahelski has arguably come the closest with John Wick, but I'ms ure you know as well as I do that after The Raid, there were a bunch of action movies that came out where you could tell they were trying their damnedest to make it look like The Raid, but coming up woefully short. Oh, The Night Comes For Us. That's probably the next closest, actually.

I thinks it was really quiet because of Covid and tbh, Gangs of London doesn’t strive to be a world known series, even tho if they had directly S2 nearly as good as S1, it could of been a really good show. But let’s see how the show will continue
