Good to hear you straightened up and was flying right. I was in 22 or 23 when this joint dropped, hanging with dudes that stole at least 3 cars and motorcycles every weekend. They robbed the pancake house and jewelry store. We werecat the club one night and they all put there chains around my neck while th fought a group of other guys. I put my back against the wall cuz I was standing there looking like Slick Rick with a neck full of dookie gold chains. I finally decided to distance myself from those dudes.

I found GangStarr just a little late, but they are definitely an important part of hip-hop culture. Rest in peace Guru, your legacy is well respected. Peace.

Let this video be a life lessons to all of us you live by the gun you die by it nothing good ever comes being a drug dealer/gangster all is going to take you 1of the 2 place the grave or prison there's no happy endings in this game. FYI in this video most of those guys you see in there were real drug dealers now that's crazy. Rest in peace to Guru he was a very talented man it's a shame that he made some very bad decisions with the guy which is what cost of his life.

The lyrics and story telling in this video is the bomb plain and simple. I remember this song from back in the day but it's not a song that I became to familiar with. Listening to it whilst watching the video (for the very first time) really drives home just how good a story teller Guru is.
