This is story telling at its finest. Put it to music, add THAT voice- and you have magic, pure magic

Just saw them play their Adelaide show, they ended their act with this song and at the end the entire arena sang the La, la, la, la, la part for about 4 minutes until they came out and smashed an encore. Was a powerful moment

Just saw them in Sydney.. my god I teared up at several points in the concert and this was absolutely one of them. Such beautiful writing.

Rarely if ever has a song made me cry like this.

This whole album is incredible.

Knowing his family was there made it really special.

The most personal of family stories told with exquisite writing from Dave and the simplicity of it all with the performance here and on the album just really hits hard. Perfection!

This will go down in history as one of the best like a versions. Beautiful song and a perfect rendition

I agree..just heard it with my daughter..I'm 62..she is 29..I want to cry..makes me sad when I hear he dropped his baby off at a hospital

Love your dad always, you never know what the circumstances are of the the way he is. But a fathers love is the strongest he will ever have !

I saw an interview recently where Adam Duritz of Counting Crows said that Gang of Youths are the best band on the planet right now... & I don't know how or why I hadn't heard of them. This was the first thing I saw after searching & my God, I feel weirdly hopefully elated & heartbroken at the same time. Just downloaded angel in realtime & an going to give the whole thing a listen through, but from the few songs I've heard... absolutely, in love. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
