I love every video Node puts out. But games like Gang Beasts, Human Fall Flat, and Ultimate Chicken Horse always make for exceptional videos from Node. Keep it up guys!

yeah the past year has been them looking like they don't even want to play games anymore, since at least the first battlefield v video they seem to actually be enjoying themselves again

High key would listen to a podcast of Brandon talking about devs and software in the industry.

Don't know if you know this already, but Sam and Niko along with the rest of the Corridor guys now have a podcast KZread channel since this week (it's called Coriddor Cast). I'm hoping they'll feature Brandon on there at some point, because I'm sure he has a lot of interesting opinions to share!

Gang beast has more movement options now. You used to be able to only flop forward onto your belly, but now you can lie on your back too. You can also climb by holding jump and grabbing, then regrabbing with your other hand, and pulling yourself up inch by inch. The game now is easier to recover from an early disadvantage. I love it!

There is a really good headbutt now that acts as a big knock out move that I think gives you more time to throw. Knock outs with punches seem to be more momentum based now as well so spamming punches don’t lead to knock downs. Jump punches seem really good

I miss the old gang beast. The physics were so much better in it and I liked the old wave mode way more. People only stay knocked out for two seconds in this new one.

I've couch-played this game during my two cousins' birthdays over about two years, and I've had a lot of fun messing around with physics, like climbing, doing stunts and interacting with objects. I could honestly buy the game just for *that*, but all the updates to the physics is making it a pretty shaky decision since the entire rest of online play seems generally unappealing. If you have this game, do you think these things still work like they did before?

Sam is looking like modern day Pablo Escobar

There's actually been the idea of soccer/football in Gang Beasts since the 0.0.3 update (with a small soccer pitch in the right corner of a test level), nothing to do with Rocket League's success but I do see the connection. I definitely miss the old Gang Beasts because the physics was more solid and weighty. The devs made the game less and less reliant on momentum and swinging, but like you guys said, that ultimately makes the game too floaty and random now. I still love the game, but the 0.0.2 and 0.0.3 alphas were the sweet spots. Pretty sure you can still download them from online archives of y'all wanna try them out.

You don't actually have to be knocked out in the water. If you stay in the water for too long, you'll drop like a rock. I was playing by myself, and I tested it, twice. Figured it out quickly.

A cheap game on Steam that is a lot of fun is called Maximum Action....it has bullet time, lets you dive around a lot, and dual wield any combination of the guns in the game. Its sort of like you are filming a movie, but you do the scenes to get better, and has endless modes as well.

These videos are why I bought this game, but I gotta say I do love playing it online, believe it or not.

I wanna see them play more of the waves game mode against the AI
