I was born on 26 July 1987 this movie i do remember when I was 10 yrs old i watched it on video cassette player really enjoyed it. those days were a period of Golden Era, hats off to all the cast in this movie.

• I liked the way how the director Phani Ramachandra introduces his crew first in the beginning and then starting credits roll in as one is viewing it from a marriage album (Maduve touch to Ganeshana "Maduve") • Liked how the 2 lady characters were named Shruthi (meaning Rhythm, who created a small rhythm in a rather frustrated life for Ganesha) and other lady Abhilaasha (Abhilaashé meaning desire, who desires for wanting Ganesha) • Ananth Nag pulls off the frustrated and comic side quite effortlessly, no wonder is one of the finest Kannada actors till date. • Vinaya Prasad is the stereotyped "Soda buddi" Adi Lakshmi on one hand and other hand a charming Shruti. • Cricket is the pulse of India, adding cricket metaphors worked really well, that too making a lady, a cricket buff genius, Late. Vaishali Kasaravalli you played it superbly. • Dr Vishnuvardhan's cameo, Honavalli Krishna's over the top character, Ramesh Bhat aka Shastri's Tukaali ideas and punches 😆, Mukhyamantri Chandru getting heart attack seeing Sihi Kahi Chandru 😂 • The song involving all the leading heroines then was brilliant. • A tinge of 18+ comedy, slap stick comic sequences and most part of it being situational Comedy makes it evergreen and stand tall for all these years.

The sheer creativity of the director makes this movie an ultimate classic jus like the other one directed by Him(Gouri Ganesha). Vinaya Prasad's acting is top class & she no way makes it appear that it was her debut movie. The fact that She came from TV makes it all together more special. The dynamism between Anant Nag & Ramesh Bhat is simply brilliant & natural. They both pull it off so effortlessly. Hard to find such an acting pair in today's cinema. The fact that the movie was based on a novel is another outstanding feature of it. Wish the filmmakers today made movies based on such IP & add their creativity to it instead of simply goin the 'Copy & paste' way. No matter how many times I watch the 'Ganesha' series they never seem to get bored since we can easily connect with the characters & situations.

I saw this movie in Bangalore when it was released in 1990..This film was screened many times in the kannada channels. One does not get tired to see the movie again and again. One of the best movies in the history of kannada movies. I saw it today and my memories of my stay at bangalore was before my eyes. The movie tops in the theme, actors and their acting and sweet music. Phani's direction is exemplary. Over all it is a must see movie
