Ha ha ha. Vishnu failed to maintain his body from his first film. He was fat with a pouch, and a 48 inch waist. He did only 3 good films. Wasted in doing gutter grade remakes with that idiot Kulla. These two destroyed Kannada.

If my memory is right Dr.Raj kumar appealed to journalists not to make that an issue.But they deliberately made it to bring rivalry between the fans of the two actors. Even they prevented Vishnuvardhan in giving a statement that he was not at all there on the spot.

@@ramkudr the fact of the matter is whether he cleared the air or not... It had an impact on Vishnuvardhan's career... If media did not highlight it... Then he could have released a press statement and made sure it was on leading news paper... He had all the powers to influence the media... But people around him did not want that to happen... So it went on like that and Vishnu was made scapegoat...

@@vittalrao1110 At the same time when vishnu who had the support of press could have a given a press statement that he was not there on the spot when the fire was broken out.Why he did not.? Again the press people avoided him. The aim was to bring a rivalry between the artists one senior and another a new entrant. Even if Dr.Raj had called a press meet definitely they would have boycotted it

@@ramkudr ifs and buts does not work... Vishnu was victim... How on earth he can call for press meet? It was Dr Raj's job to clear the air... Press meet is new trend... That era it was press statement... Like how Dr Raj did a press statement to safeguard Ravichandran in one of the issue... I am not blaming Dr Raj... People around him did not want that to happen... so it went on till the demise of Dr Vishnu...

He was d right choise by Vardharaj sir Vishnu sir would not hve done as Shrinivas Murthy sir. 2). Producers & directors had had experimented Vishnu sir n Historical roles. They knew hs limits. Though he hs dne n flm "Guru Shisharu" as Vishnu sir was handsome fans accepted d king's role. But hs role was not so nice as a king but as he had become vry famous people accepted hm as they did wth Ambarish sir. But Shrineevas Murthy gve tough competation to Dr. Raj In "Kasidre Kailas" Udaykumar sir had dne better thn Dr Raj. As Raj sir was vry famous people did not c d talent of Udaykumar sir Jai Krsna. ... ..... Jai Hind

Yes in Kasidre Kailasa movie Udaykumar have overtaken Dr. Rajkumar. But in many movies Dr. Rajkumar overtook Udaykumar. Example, Immadi Pulakeshi and Bhoodana. Main reason for Udaykumar's decline is he didn't maintain his body like Dr. Rajkumar. In 1979 Dr. Rajkumar was still so fit but Udaykumar started acting in father role in Moogana Sedu. Udaykumar was looking like so aged when Dr. Rajkumar was so fit.

@@SudarshanKannadiga there were many actors more talented than Dr.Raj but they were few crucial ingredients to succeed. 1.When it comes to looks nobody could compete against Dr:Raj as he maintained perfect physique even when he was in his 60s compared to that his contemporary and competition were already looking 10 years older than their actual age. 2. When it comes to discipline nobody could come near Dr:Raj and you can hear testimony of many directors which made him darling of producers and directors.3. He continued to grow by improving his acting skills by taking the suggestions of his directors (one point has been discussed in these series of videos) . 4. People from all financial/religious/caste background loved to watch Dr.Raj’s movie. When we were young the anticipation of Dr.Raj is same as the anticipation of a festival
