I put the X pro precision blade with the one cutter on these trimmers and they are one taps. No zero gapping required.

After 2 years these are still my favorite clippers til this day. One thing I changed is they come with taper blade out of the box so I slapped the fusion blade on it and this thing is amazing

The X Ergo didn’t have the same effect as the originals. One year later I’m still rocking with the originals Ergo. I just have the faper fusion blade on it.

After a year of using the gamma ergo the batteries needs charge more often

The gamma dub guards are dope i have them. I use them on my jrl. They are just as good as the andis dbl magnetics. The 0 guard feels different but cuts similar to the original 0 from andis. I love them.

Ergo2.0 have the same motor the only difference is now that the X comes with the option for the stretch lever and the new power button this was told to me by Austin from gamma oh and something about a chip I forgot what the chip does but technically the same clippers and trippers same. Motor on the 2.0

X ergo $220 has more torque and sounds better in my opinion than the original I just got them from prostylingtools for $180

Did you do anything other than zero gap the x-evo trimmers? I pre-ordered those as well but even after zero gapping they just never really hit. I was wondering if I’m the only one 🤔

I have issues with my wahl senior it doesn't cut well I have to go so many times and push hard to the skin on the same spot..., I almost don't hear that crunchy noise when you know hair gets cut like I can hear on fade tutorials I watched, and when the hair gets into the blade it's like repelling it.. My cuz told me to use blade ice as my blade teeth seem good on the eyes. Since I got this issue I want to switch towards Gamma+ X-Ergo or .50 cal mag 3rd gen what do you think of my issue and the switch?

With the Senior it could be a dull blade or the tension is off but I say if you wanted to switch to the XErgo, i say that would be a great choice. If you you wanted something close to the Senior Caliber just dropped the 9mm and they are awesome.

@@CutsByReggie I wanted to open my wahl senior saw because I saw an old video to fix wahl clippers that don't cut well anymore but the interior is not the same as the cordless ones.. I haven't come across people doing that.So do you think it's still possible to change the tension? Also for the blades is it possible I made them dull when I turned them on without oil for a few minutes? Just checked the 9mm and it's only 6500 rpm not really impressed compared to the .50 cal mag. They look good it's a mix of wahl senior and .50 cal that's decent. I'll watch some videos to get to know it more. I contacted Caliber them to see if a new gen of .50 cal was coming or a new clipper. They said a new clipper but I have no more further information still waiting. I hope they will be looking like a wahl senior without looking cheap like their .44 magnum and be better than the .50 cal

They are both 9v

Just fake chrome paint like on model parts for the gaurds, I have always just threw my model parts in purple power takes the chrome off and leaves a nice matte finish

Do Stylecraft and gamma use the same dock? I have the rebels but thinking about picking up the x ergos for tapering. Be nice to use one dock to charge while using the other one on different hair cuts

My favorite is the FX, after they are broken in a bit. Once they are set they are tough to be. And I have dropped mine twice and they are still doing strong. The FX3 is a great trimmer but don’t seem like they could survive a drop.

What’s the difference between the original evo blade and the new one?

I really wanna give the ergos a try.. the magnetic motor is very appealing to me since all my clippers are rotary. I don't know if I should spring for the x ergos or just save and go for the rogues since they also have the 9v motor. Thoughts?

Style craft Ergos on Amazon are the 2.0 version with the 9V motor, I DMed style craft to confirm. But Depends on the color you prefer and also if you prefer a fade or taper blade. I’d still go with the Stylecraft Ergos

If you want to give them a try yes but if you looking for something better than the FX no. These are ok but the Gold FX is top notch.

Even the paint on the clipper is cheap. I sand and repaint clippers and sell them. And sanding through these lids takes like 8 minutes lol… the motors are dope but the build quality of these are super shitty man.. the plastic is cheap too

I bought mine ergo x for 160 euros so that’s probably worth it haha
