Something is definitely wrong with the RX. Either the laptop undervolt it or overheated. There's no way it has that much freezing in an ideal world.

I wonder if the CPU power consumption is correct. The power consumption gap is crazy.

It is more powerful but the battery drain in the msi bravo is so bad that it almost cant be used in gaming on battery

I was expecting more from the 6550M, but it's just another limitations playing games on a notebook...for a competitive e-sports = very nice. But for a good AA gaming, choosing another GPU might a better choice

in short they are pretty much the same but i personally prefer nvidia for better drivers and features than amd

@@nidhunmohan7035 Yes I did found the solution. Actually it wasn't a problem in the first place. This wattage was of rx660m which is the Igpu not that of dedicated rx6550m. Then I enabled the power draw of Rx6550m and the wattage went up to 65watt. I have tried only a few games. And it was performing well. There was no thermal issue. I think in this budget, it is the best laptop.

@@nidhunmohan7035 other recommendations:- in this budget, no. This one is the best performing laptop in this range. Performs better than rtx 2050. You can get rtx 3050 of higher wattage like 85-90watt. It will be better than this one. Also the processor is great (ryzen 5 7535hs). It is better than i5 12450h but a bit slow than i5 12500h. Which you won't get at this budget. Please check the 'best laptop cpu ranked' to see more info about the cpu.

This may be wrong.. but RTX 3050 driver maybe have some advantage because on the majority of the game tested ram usage are higher on the RX 6550M laptop. Also the graphic setting too demanding it caused freezing on both of these cards which only have 4GB of memory while some games settings are way past 4GB of vram usage.

yep it's better, The performance on RX 6550M is equal on RTX 3050, And RTX 2050 is upgrade version of GTX 1650 with DLSS Tech.

Why rx 6550m took cpu power higher than rtx, it because of integrated gpu? or just because of rtx good at power management?

@@mwf181 if you mean rx and rtx as a whole, I can't give you a definitive answer because which one is better actually varies a lot depending on your budget and which game you play. Try googling "amd vs nvidia gpu". But if you mean these 2 gpus in this video, after seeing a lot of comparisons, my conclusion is rtx 3050 > rx 6550m > rx 2050. The rtx 3050 do slightly better in most games, while the rx 6550m do slightly better in some games. Also if you plan on playing in high setting, you must have at least 16gb RAM.

6550M better but there is no big difference between 6500m and 6550m because it's only upgrade clock, TDP but Vram and Cuda cores is the same, So no need to worry about which is better.

The RX 6550M doesn't seem to be rated at 80W as the thumbnail and notebookspec link suggest. It never went past 65W on any test. Nevertheless, they are close enough in performance. Some games seem to prefer one or the other leading to a somewhat significant margin of performance difference. Good job doing a comparison video. The RX 6550M seem to be obscure and few have posted benchmarks about it.

Rx 6550m is of 65 watts. The wattage in thumbnail is wrong.

สรุป RTX 3050 ทำ fpsได้เยอะกว่า หรือ ลื่นกว่า 3-5เฟรมครับที่เกมส่วนใหญ่ในคลิป สำหรับผมคิดว่าต่างกันเยอะครับผมค่อนข้างเข้มกับตัวเลข ดอปลงมา 1-2 เฟรมก็เครียดเเล้วครับสำหรับผม เเล้วเเต่คนด้วยครับบ
