Hey ! I am the developer of Test Drive Unlimited 2 ! I was at the head of cars graphics, cars game designs, physics , car sounds and a lot of other things. I’m really glad and honored to see that 10 years later people still love this game. Back in 2012, game critics did not see what i’ve tried to achieve in making it. But now that TDU 3 is announced, i’m seeing everywhere that in facts, people were loving it and still play it ! I love you all guys !

Test drive used to be my favorite games. My first time playing test drive was on PC back in the mid 90s. I’m glad to see a new Test Drive coming out. What a great franchise.

I think I've missed an important game in the X360's life. I'll have to see if I can snag a copy of TDU2 sometime. I guess Forza Motorsport 4 kinda hogged everyone's attention in the racing genre at the time to be honest, including mine.

I really like Xbox Achievements, so that's my go-to console for 3rd party games, which is why I originally bought it there...but then... I found out about PSVR mode! DOH! 😂

I collect games I want to play someday but it's been hard with people stealing them. I sold panzer dragoon saga though. Felt no need to play through it again. I was trying to collect every achievement on every game until trophies came out. Now I just go for them instead and haven't gone for achievements at all yet my friends still not able to come even close to catching up.

My local GameStop have taken all of the 360, PS3, Wii, and Wii U games off the shelves already. They said that they’re going to keep them in stores for the time being, and that you can ask for a list of what games they have from the counter and they will print it out for you. They also have said that they are going to only display the top 200 games in sales in the future. Anything else you will have to ask the counter whether they have it or not. Kind of kills the browsing for used games...

I know that the “before they are gone” part is about the games, but I can’t help but laugh at this title. Games aren’t mentioned at all in the title, so it reads like “make sure to shop at GameStop before they’re gone forever!” LOL

@@BDBD16 none I don’t think you understand stocks or finance at all. Microsoft recently partnered with GameStop that almost doubled the stock. Some game collectors buying a handful of games reflects on their financial statements not stock price but probably barely has an effect.

Aliens vs predator is a solid game. The multilayer was a blast at the time and the campaigns are still pretty good. You get 3 smallish campaigns. One for the predator, alien and marine. The controversial game was aliens colonel marines. Basically gearbox stole segas money and used it to work on borderlands 2 instead of ACM and then shat out a broken product for Sega.

Yea the multiplayer was awesome when it was active. I think the predator was overpowered if you knew how to play all the classes properly but it was still great. Asymmetric multiplayers can be a lot of fun.

I recently got my own game room. Now I don't have to wait to play until my wife isn't using the TV. So I have been buying tons of ps3 and ps2 games. I didn't realize how many good games I missed out on in the past! There are so many I still want to play! I have been visiting the local gamestops for the last couple of months buying all the ones that I want during their sales. Lots of fun! I also don't even look at the games without covers. Lol

It's fun having your own personal space. I have 3 bedrooms and 1 study room. I transform the study to a game room. I have an empty dining room which can be used for anything. Currently it has my daughter's slide and a big floor piano (like Tom Hanks Big movie.) My 10x10 gameroom consist of games from NES to modern games, pc gaming, arcade1up and pandora box. My biggest collection is the ps2. Next is ps3 and then ps4. Smallest is the og xbox (4 games). I don't own an og xbox but those 4 games can be played on xbox one.

@@tr1bes , I have a small collection of atari , nes, n64,ps1 games but the popular ones, but my biggest collection is for Ps2 -about 370 ,Ps-3 about 350, Ps-4,about 200, been watching ps3 to add ones I missed or forgot, but I always try to find Ps 2, 3 ,4 games at garage sales, I still really love my Playstations, and they have alot of great games out there for PS2 and 3,sales,flea markets, which have not been many to go to with corona , i only do physical copies, i miss those little manuals also, but i wont get a game without the cover unless its something i have only seen it once or not at all..I did get my preorder in at gamestop, for Ps5, very excited. I was really interested in your post because you like alot of the same systems i like, I do have the first xbox and xbox360, and xbox 1, but I sold most of my games for them,and I am thing of selling my Xbox 1, and 5 games, I need to cut down so iam sticking with my PlayStation consoles,and game collection for them, to expensive to collect for both now , good luck on your collection, you got some good deals..

Alien Vs Predator was a true hidden gem, the online at the time was so much fun. Sad the servers are empty now :(

Most online servers are gone for 6th and 7th gen games. 8th and so on will be the same later on. This should really tell gamers not to rely on internet required games. One game I just recently play is Grand Kingdom on ps4. It's an jrpg. I can't travel far because the enemies are tough and precise. Lots of grinding. Part of the story is on the server. I can't pass that part because the server are gone.

I got that game a few years ago on PC (Steam) there is still a few people still playing the online part of the game.

I have never seen such a down to earth and still very enthousiastic games collector like you.. well done.

This is practically the last game generation that works right out of the box, ps4 and xbox one all have tons of games with day one patches. Shame it's going away.

Frontline and European Assault are my two favorite MOH games. The HD remaster of Frontline is incredible, and incredibly difficult. I also like Airborne. I need to go back and play that one.

"Medal of Honor Warfighter" has a fantastic campaign, I was thrilled to pay full price for it just for the solo aspect, highly recommended!

Warfighter was very underrated, even the first reboot was fantastic. EA was looking for that good competition to Call of Duty, I guess the sales wasn’t enough for EA so they decided to put all their efforts into Battlefield.

I just bought like 40 xbox360 games for $.50-$2. Would have spent several times as much for the same games buying through eBay or amazon.

I remember getting all the Shadow Hearts and Fatal Frame games for like 50 bucks when they were trying to get rid of their Ps2 stock.

I purchased a Fatal frames for the original Xbox for like $7 at Walmart when the Xbox 360 dropped ... but never game stop. Game stop is overpriced. Never seen anything affordable or market value. Perhaps is different in little hick towns across America, but major cities nAdA!

For 50 cent, as long as you can find a few seconds of fun it's pretty much justified.

I would not agree on that from a collector's perspective: Even if a game is for free if you have to find a place for it and you typically don't play the game or only play it once, there is no reason to buy it. Buying something that you don't want for yourself, just because it is cheap takes away one copy of the game for someone who might be looking exactly for that game. E.g. That hello kitty game. MGR will probably not play this and got a lucky find on that. But if there is any WiiU collector going for a complete physical collection around Seattle he well be pissed to know that game is now rotting in MGRs shelves... Picking up every game just because it is cheap is just hoarding! Because even if you re-sell the game later you will probably sell it for more than you paid. Which is then a scam...

As a collector, my primary goal after playing games is ensuring that my collection is as complete as possible. My 360 collection has every notable game that would appeal to me as a thirty-something man with my specific tastes and those that my two young daughters would enjoy, as well.

But I think it's not for me to decide what games my kids should like to play. e.g. I own the switch games that I enjoy, but I do not enjoy games like Animal Crossing, but my oldest son does. he loves that game, so he has his own game, that is however not something from my collection, that is his game and his alone. So my personal collection just includes all games that I like to play and keep. I am not an archive for other people who might want to find a game they like in my collection. My collection is apersonal thing and it reflects my personal taste. If that is a dirt cheap shovel ware title I happen to like that's fine. But For me collecting is about passion. And having/buying a game just to own it and never use/play it or even enjoy it is not a part of collecting for me. I do get that there is a lot of different approaches and oppions on this, but I wanted to make a point that there CAN be harm in just buying games just because they are cheap. It would be nice if people at least keep this in mind when doing game hunting in the wild...

Unfortunately, it probably won’t last much longer with all the lockdowns and shit, but nonetheless, it’s cool to have an old video rental store in the area. In order to stay relevant, they even sell new movies and games both in store and on their website now. I haven’t checked out their website yet, but their prices in store are usually dirt cheap Update: Well, mine recently closed down too. This kinda pisses me off, because I really liked having one of the last movie rental places in the country. I have a lot of fond memories of going there and picking out movies, but Cuomo just had to ruin it.

Hey MJ, the case with “XBOX ONE” & “XBOX 360” at the top actually came out when they were touting 360 backwards compatibility for the Xbox one as a selling point. They didn’t make many of them though. I have the RedDeadRedemption and GTA 4. They were definitely rare to find. Also last year they made these mini Xbox one cases that were also rare. They were essentially a case with code in it but they came with a collectors coin in each. So keep an eye out for those too.

@Major Gear For me, the best games Ive played in the past 5 years are RDR2, The Witcher 3 on Switch, and Ghost of Tsushima. Spiderman on ps4/ the Batman games were good too but those 3 are classics and I highly reccomend.

@Major Gear No prob. Definitely try Witcher 3 if it goes on sale. So much content. I never played any Witcher game before so I can't judge it. But its like a game/ interactive movie. If you get it on switch visuals are worse but the portability is nice.

The closest we have to GameStop in the UK is Game, and the selection for older consoles are almost nonexistent in my local ones.

WOW, all of your games on the first stop were UNREAL. Loved them all when they came out!!

Personnally i had a great fun with all the cybertron transformers game, MoH Warfighter is really great!!

Great shout on Transformers. Both the Cybertron games were excellent and it's such a shame they didn't do a third game. AVP was also decent. I quite enjoyed it. Colonial Marines was the game surrounded in controversy.

Fantastic video. We're going to see prices on these games start to go up slightly in the next year, I'm willing to bet, now that GS isn't stocking them anymore. War for Cybertron is a TON of fun, that's a solid score!

i traveled to 7 gamestop locations in my area and cleaned them out on alot of stuff got some killer deals i was told by a few managers there nolonger taking in ps3 360 wii wii u games so once there sold or taken down there gone for good so right now is the time to pick everything up the good thing is if you take advantage of there buy two get two deals and one has a generic case you can swap it out at any gamestop location with receipt to get the complete copies went ahead made phone calls before i did any buying and was able to mix and match got a total of 67 games complete sadly cant do anymore buying since i cant afford the gas to go any farther but very happy i found what was needed in the collection for the cheap.

Wouldn't have expected that out of Rango. You got some really solid games for the 360. My favorite generation out of Xbox.

Think he's mentioned using Gameye before. I tried it and it doesn't have much Pal region variations so I haven't found a good solution for myself... But for America that seems like a good app.

I recommend you check out either Gameye (Free) or CLZGames (Paid) which is what I personally use. CLZGames just has more features, so it's worth the $1 a month it costs. I did a video on it here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iJeLzLxtZ7ffj7w.html

Gameye is great. My only real complaint is that new games are not always in their database and neither are a lot of special editions. But you can go online and add them yourself.

Ive done this in every gen, when Dreamcast went out and N64 that was the first time I really started stocking up on games,. Ive always had 2 gamestops or eb games years ago near me so, it works out well whenever a new console comes out and something is phased out of being sold in store. Once its online only, it makes it so much harder to buy them cheap and in working condition, without having to return stuff thats broken occasionally through the mail!

The controversy was over the game Alien: Colonial Marines AvP Aliens vs Predators from Sega. Is a Great Game. It had a Big online community when it was new. (I was a part of it) It is still fun. I had the ps3 version. But only way to play this now is with Xbox One. The controversy over the game Alien: Colonial Marines

You picked up the BEST Dirt in my opinion. I have it for PC and PS3, and it's a game I like play through from time to time. Great OST, very fun game!

DiRT Showdown is the best DiRT game.

In the UK we have Cex and Game. Cex sells used games that people trade in such as retro games, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, Wii U, GameCube, PSP, PS VITA, PC and a lot of DVDs. And Game sells lots of new games

@3:00 are you saying Forza Motorsport 4 is going to be backwards compatible at/after launch of the Series X/S? Because it's *not* at all, and as someone along with a majority of Forza fans consider that to be still the peak of the series, would love to play it on the modern systems with Auto HDR, and upscaled.

I genuinely think he doesn't know. I mean, the Forza Motorsport series are first party Microsoft games, so most would asume that they would be backwards compatible. But that's not the case.

@@ParzivalXL Im taking what he said with a grain of salt/mixup, but right before the back compat team stopped updates to prep for the Series, the game did show up on XboxDVR, much like MW2/MW3 did but was officially supported months down the road. It would make sense to me to drop a huge back compatibility update at the same time as the consoles launch.

I was coming on here to say that both Forza Motorsport 4 and Dirt 2 are not backwards compatible. I made the same assumption with Forza 2-4 that since it was Microsoft, that it would be backward compatible. But at least you have the 360 to play it on still

Disc rot are most prevalent on Gamecube disc. The Metal Gear solid twin snakes is probably one that I know of that it. My ps1 hardly have any. It's up to the user, temperature of in house, storage and the integrity of the disc. Don't worry about it. If it comes, it comes. Nothing last forever but it's up to you to maintain it. Some people have collections of old things dating back 200 years like guns and they are in good condition. I have an old photo of my great great grandfather that is almost 100 years old.

Disc rot is not a prevalent issue on Gamecube discs.

I bought Wii U games like BO2 ($5), Nintendoland ($1), Pikman 3 (free), and Mario 3D World (free) at a closing Gamestop store. It was buy one get one free at a closing store in my local mall. They also allowed me to trade a Wii Classic controller (I bought a week earlier) for a Wii U Pro controller for even trade because another store was in need of a Wii Classic controller for a customer. Talk about steal.

I live in PA. Yes, noticed yesterday gamestop was rearranging. Sad but it's expected. I have been shopping for Wii and mainly PS3 on their online store the last few months. Super cheap.

Now I need to make a stop at my GameStop and pick up some cheap but fun games that I looked over before.

Hi MJR, believe it or not, but my local GameStop in Germany actually still has a few PS Vita, PSP aaand (wait for it) PS2 games on sale! So I usually try to hunt down those - even got lucky and found a copy of Haunting Ground! I'll check out those games you mentioned on Xbox360 and PS3 though, I'm sure they won't be around for long any more.

The only thing that moves me into a physical game store mower days, is the Pre-used stuff, and they are killing them all. Same for EBGames Canada. They used to have many old/Pre used stuff, consoles, controllers, dirt cheap. It’s all gone. :(

I did exactly the same thing at EB games (gamestop in Canada) in my area, 13 stores( 11 now, 2 were closed this year), Picked up all the PS3, Wii U, DS and 3DS games I was missing in my collection. I did it earlier, about a year ago for PS3 and Wii U games, and a few months ago for DS and 3DS games. They games were not dirt cheap yet, but I'm glad I did it then, because now the games are almost gone, at least the good ones. I was able to get Ducktales Wii U for $19.99, and Pokemon Heatgold (DS) for $19.99, and so many more.

With the skate 3 case, that's what they did for quiet a few reprints of 360 games that work on Xbox one. I don't think anything actually launched with that case. It's really funny to see games like Rayman origins that had both a 360 and Xbox one version, and then they reprint the 360 version as this cross gen version.

For 50¢ I'd almost buy dance dance revolution or just dance...

Honestly, the thing that makes me cringe the most is knowing that Gamestops everywhere are going to have to find space for the PS5 and Series X games. They refuse to get rid of the useless popculture knick knacks nobody wants to buy so they're just going to make the 360, PS3, Wii and Wii U games go the way of the Dodo. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they just chucked the games in the dumpster, I remember my buddy demanded that we go dumpster diving after they got rid of the Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube games....and he was right because holy fuck there were a shit-ton of games they just threw in the trash, not even terrible games, I always tell people I got into the Kingdom Hearts series thanks to a dumpster.

some of those medal of honor games were amazing... like there was a middle period where they hit their stride. i remember one where they had snow levels and they TOTALLY NAILED the feel of being in snow... the movement was slow, the crunch of snow... and the weird ability for snow to kind of swallow up ambient sound... don't know how they did that last bit but it just made you feel cold!

Fantastic pickups. I enjoyed the video. Yes I'm doing the same thing. There is an employee who enjoys working at Gamestop he warned me about a lot of things that is going to with Corp. I even have a manger who gives me the heads up on stuff that goes on.

I don’t see how they can call Tony Hawk 1+2 a “remaster” when they really didn’t remaster the old games....the games look completely remade in my opinion, they look absolutely nothing like the originals.

I guess you could go either way on the definition. Technically they remade them, but they stuck very close to the exact original level geometry and locations, almost exactly, so it's feels more like a remaster in that regard, whereas most games that are remade will change the levels more drastically.

Probably because he repeatedly said he didn't know anything about this or that... when he could've quickly researched it before recording. I still gave a thumbs up, but I imagine some of the downvotes were annoyed with that.
