Spider-Man 2 almost felt too similar to the original when I started, but playing through I started to appreciate all of the new mechanics that were previously absent. Being able to ride around on Yoshi was fun, and the big head spaceship was very funny. Great game.

It's a shameless promo, actually- because this little indie gem was developed under BigMode, originally as part of a 48 hour game jam. I'm honestly a bit surprised that Dunkey was able to find an English dub though, as the original version of the game is only available in Portuguese (sometimes with Tagalog subtitles). It hasn't even been available online since 1997, so Dunk must be an avid collector...

Actually, it's inclusion was done HORRIBLY! first of all, it's NOT called "Big Wheel" it's called the Wonder Wheel!!!! And it's missing the wonder wheels signature feature! To me it was too graphic, especially the scene with the cross. I get it needed to be in there for the story but I don't know if a 35 minute unskippable cutscene was the way to go.

I know the developers took a lot of flak on the Gamecube version for making you play as Game Cube but I think it really added a lot to the experience. The tesseract levels really took the gameplay to another dimension.

TBH when Dunkey made the satirical "can you tell the difference" comparison, I really could, the lighting is very noticeably better in 2 compared to 1 Remastered. That is actually "night and day" to me.

Honestly, I could as well. You know how you could tell the difference between PS3 & PS4 games' graphics? It's kinda the same feeling. It's crazy how Spider-Man 2018 looks and feels somewhat... not totally, but a little empty and flat in comparison to SM2. A lot of people are saying it's the same, but to me, the videos don't do the game justice to how good it actually looks in person on a good screen. The level of detail and city density while moving at insane speeds is amazing.

I always wanted to go for bicycle rides in a Spiderman game.. just finished it tonight, and I'm seriously disappointed.. I won't be playing it again. You spend more time watching the game then actually playing it. Peter keeps saying sorry for every thing. The Mary Jane symbiote keeps screaming "You don't pay the rent, you lost your job" Peter responds with "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I didn't take your feelings into consideration. I'm sorry, your better then me, forgive me" WHAT THE ACTUAL FK... WOKE POS GAME

Also, half of these games are definitive editions, some come out on PlayStation as well and Redfall is just shit. Hi Fi Rush might be the best of the bunch.

Hi Fi Rush is amazing.

For those that can't place that first song: It's the Spider-Man 2000 song that plays when you get into combat in the first mission "Get to the Bank" (which is the name of the song itself as well)

"This is the future of entertainment... the future of entertainment has some bugs to work out." Perfect way to sum up my thoughts on the game. Definitely an 8.5/10 lol

5:08 I like on how that guy was boasting about xbox having the better games when the the games on that list are two remasters, hi-fi rush (which I heard was good so at least theres that but still its also on pc), a racing game we've already gotten, a game that is pretty mush the same game every year that is also on every platform, mid fallout in space, nominee for stinker of the year, a minecraft spinoff that nobody played (which is also on every platform anyway), and this one takes the cake a game that released last year as an exclusive to playstation before coming to xbox a year later.

Hi-Fi Rush sticks out like a sore thumb as the only diamond in that rough. Do wish Dunkey wasn't implicitly dismissive of that game with his remark there, but who knows, maybe it'll get a positive mention in a Best of 2023 list.

@@epzo Tango Softworks is owned by Microsoft. Not an indie game. It does FEEL these days like indies are where all the creativity and style are at though...

I'm playing this game on the Wii U, so my Spider Man turns into a lumpy tablet and disconnects whenever he moves 10 feet away from his TV

My takeaway is that there is a _The Grinch_ game. that one second of gameplay shown looked sublime

this game is so accurate and realistic, it makes you feel like spiderman 2

I went to get some water and paused at 5:10. When I pressed play on my headset, it started playing classical music from spotify, but I just thought the video kept playing. I read the entire review from "Metric_Monkeh" just totally believing Donk-man had sincerely left me the time to read the entire thing talking about how Biblical the game is... 10/10

The car glitch happened to me just before I watched this video. Best glitch I've ever seen. I also got one where Miles turned into liquid in order to contort his body for a finisher while near a wall.

That one second to last review was really something

Haven't played the game but coolest part was when he shot the web out from his hand then swung from it. 10/10 for creativity.

This is one of the best games of all time. In most games, they want you to believe you are this guy, the guy you are playing as, but guess what, you never feel like you're actually the guy. In this game, you really feel like you're spider-man 2 and that's simply why this is one of the best games.
