I like to think that Berdly is in the same situation as Undyne. Despite how the battle is going to end, Undyne's death was inevitable. A monster can only have so much determination before they melt, but Undyne's will was making her stand, only to end with whatever monster you have become. Same to Berdly, he's ultimately dead (or frozen), but his will to save Noelle from you is enough for what was left of his subconscious to break out of his _snowgrave_ and end this once and for all. And that's why he wouldn't say word in the fight. This shell of him is just his subconscious last stand to bring you down. Whatever the outcome, he has been dead since the start.

I love both versions of the NEO fight but I do wish it was at least slightly different mechanically, beyond just being harder because you have less party members. I suppose this was a fun chance to live the world where Snowgrave has a totally different final fight out vicariously through my music

@@TECHNOJESTER --- I think the SnowGrave Route Spamton NEO fight was made that way, because the route wasn't made to be fun in the first place.

This would have hit way harder emotionally than the snowgrave spamton fight, plus i really would have liked a berdly fight where he's straight up fighting for his life.

Well, you never know, he could come back eventually. I feel like it'll hit harder if you're about to beat a future chapter, (probably chapter 5-7) and then Berdly stops you and fights you with everything he's got, but still dosen't want to kill you because Berdly and Kris do have a past together and were actually friends. But eventually he'd find out that it isn't Kris in control.

@@rainestorm4399 I feel like this idea has potential, especially if during the dodging sections, Kris is using that moment of momentary freedom from the player to join Berdly in attacking YOU, giving all of his attacks far more powerful patterns thanks yo Kris acting on his own from the left to bounce his attacks back at the box.

@@rainestorm4399 It's funny because we've literally never seen him go all out, he's not even bluffing. If he actually got hurt in any of his fights he'd show that in reality like with the arm thing, couple that with his bizarrely large hp of 1985 and 900 as a lightner (both of which when depleted don't hurt him at all), Berdly's a really strange anomaly powerwise as a lightner. Also he's totally gonna just leave after fighting Kris if he loses since Kris can't really kill on their own.

I like the Undyne motif (since he's reborn) and the "wow" from Big Shot. The vocals were a neat touch since every secret boss has had some voice lines

I really love how some parts of the song include a bit of spamtons theme, after all he did sell you that [[commemorative ring]], and even at one point a bit of jevils

Berdly is one of if not my favorite deltarune character, so if he gets this sort of treatment in a future chapter, I will go insane. I think all of the "defrosted berdly" themes and animations are absolutely amazing, and seeing one with battle against a true hero leitmotifs is sick. Definitely subscribing!

The animation and music sync of Berdly breaking out of the ice was cool. And the song is hype as hell! Just a little bit of Battle Against a True Hero to show the parody and help with the build up, before leading into some badass gamer music. Also the use of some Spamton motifs, while I do think it's a bit excessive, does fit since he gave you the ring. Also holy crap the Ninja speech lmao.

i just realised why there is big shot leitmotif, its because spamton NEO, in undertale battle against a true hero has a mettaton neo leitmotif.

berdley the unfrosted- 90 attack, 250 defence *managed to keep his wings frozen, and is using them as ice shields blocking your attacks *he seems angry ... *smells like cooked chicken :) side notes: queen would fly her chair above berdley, using the flame from the jet to defrost him and thaw him out *insert this battle or both of them combining forces here* as for the song, its a cool idea but feels more like a mix-mash of various instruments and various leimotives, i think it could have smoother transitions but im in love with the concept of this
