Why is this series so perfect as sleep material? Somehow it’s perfectly comical, relaxing, and entertaining all at once.

I'm so glad others feel the same about this playthrough. Something about this game and playthrough make it just perfect for going to sleep to. I use various GG compilations to help me get to sleep sometimes, but this is one of the BEST ones for sure.

I love this for sleeping. The plot, music, dialogue, maze town, are all already strangely so dreamlike

To this day, I'm still impressed that Arin pulled off the entire Mr. Skinner Ham scene. Dude has a great Principal Skinner voice

KZread seems to think lunacy helps me sleep too. Its been autoplaying this video no matter what for a couple months now around 7 or 8pm. I'm not complaining, it actually does help me sleep. I just think it's hilarious and thought I'd share. Haha Take it easy, guys.

This game gives the feeling of having been a much more complex idea and dream from the creators/writers but having to be limited to the technology of the time made it kinda wonky. Like it should have been more dreamy/surreal but instead it's bizarre/surreal.

Though is would literally never ever happen, because genuinely why would it, I'd be interested in seeing a modern full fledged remake of this game. However I do love that 90's FMV vibe

@@enflamedhuevos Yeah, there really is no reason for it to be remade, but these days you never know. It would be interesting to have the creators be like "look, this is what we really wanted it to look and feel like". I think the fmv format could be kept but modernized in some way and have the story be better fleshed out.

I just noticed that they never spell Zaboo's bame right!! In the subtitles it was spelled Sabu and Zebu and then in the credits it was Zaboo!

When Arin says "Maybe they're out...?" at one of the first locked door, all i can think of is Shen Mue. Good reference.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who uses this one for sleeping. It's so perfect as a relaxing, comical mid-energy game. It's like that LSD game mixed into lazy Shenmue.

1:02:28 man grabbing and handing over thing in animation. its hard now with changing parents and influance, i am surprised they pulled it off then. why its floppy is because they are probebly either replacing the model with one that is parented to him or changing constraint values to parent the object to him

It looks like the latter to me. Still kinda cool. The game is like a time capsule of where cg animation was at. Usually things that last are ahead of their time, but this game is sooo of its time.

I love it when Arin says a same is "actually 3 minutes," but I check and the playthrough is 3 hours.
