I love these because everyone becomes convinced they were speaking in tongues babbling about nothing and then realizing they just forgot the bit they were doing.

I like how the Gameclam 1 commentary had an undercurrent of "This was a lot better than I remember!" while this commentary is just "Wow, this was *so much worse* than I remember."

I can see why yall think this one was worse than you remember, but GOD its easily my favourite one. The whole DMCA bit aging badly honestly makes it even better, because now its this surreal nightmare world where sound is cutting out for seemingly no reason at all. That, and the whole celebrity segment with the split-second clapping during the moment of silence is comedic genius. Simply superb.

This Gameclam conference is my favorite. From the long pauses of nothing, the patents, Gameclam lover, the super scuffed production, the Kratos money feeding, the death of Jeph, the Vin Diesel, but most importantly, Toys In Space. Genuinely played it on repeat for hours on our Discord server vc, sometimes leaving it on for 24 hours straight. Such a great song.

I love the idea of Mistar Whyte and the Gameclam just being completely unrelated alien entities that inexplicably converged to create. This.

This Gameclam really suffered from pacing, but it almost fits for the chaotic time that was game conferences during the pandemic. Future generations won't understand.

im planning on cosplaying mistar whyte the next con i go to and i was writing down my cosplay plans in my discord gc and someone was like "omg i loove breaking bad" and i completely forgot that mister white is most commonly known as the drug maker from popular tv show instead of inhuman man who wears round sunglasses indoors and is always barefoot and wants to sell his gameclam consoles

The gameclam slim might be my favorite design and this my favorite gameclam conference. The DMCA cutouts are so, so funny, and the awkward pacing and mix of deliberate and accidental editing mistakes really make it for me, rather than making it less funny.

I think this and Gameclam 3 are easily my favorites in the history of this little corner of the net. Like, when I think Gameclam, the first thought that comes to mind is "Do not smell the tube". While I agree the pacing was very....questionable, the concept alone lands it a very special place in my heart.

This sentiment has been echoed but honestly all of the weird bad parts of this (the pacing, the music having to be changed, Mistar Whyte not knowing the lyrics to Gameclam Lover, etc.), all of which are said by y'all to make this conference worse are the soul of this Gameclam. It's so awkward that it loops around to being prestige level comedy.

Gameclam 2 might be one of the more broken and poorly paced ones but it's still probably my favorite primarily because of how much I laughed at the ATM bit and everyone's performance. I love every rtvs production please never stop

i love that they still didnt notice that the bottom of the stage says Bethesda on it

not a day goes by where I don't think about how mistar whyte synced perfectly with a prerecorded video of vin deisel looking dissaprovingly

Gameclam 2 is decidedly my favorite one of the conferences. the ATM idea, with the exhaust tubes, is just *so* funny, and this conference is exactly broken and scuffed enough (on purpose and from editing mistakes) to hit a sweet spot. The mistakes genuinely don't come through as mistakes, it just feels like part of the bit.

Actually. Metallica didn't perform at Ubisoft's conference. It was Blizzard-con, which had Metallica playing their song, and then the livestream was muted. I remembered that cause there was a video where the guy who has a cat mascot talked about the DMC problem.

Agree in regards to gameclam 4 (aside from bad boe jamo), but I still think gameclam 3 is the best one

Ive already watched this commentary before and i’m still laughing my ass off so hard i can’t breathe

I think this is my favorite Gameclam by far. This type of comedy works best when most of it is improvised and nobody knows what the fuck they're doing (as seen in the god of war gameplay demo). Gameclam 3 and 4 are great, but they feel way too scripted and don't capture the pure chaos that 1 and 2 do. The lower the production value the better I feel. Regardless, I'm really excited to see where they take Gameclam 5.

I agree. I feel like Mistar Whyte was too much in control at the last two presentations. It's more exciting when he doesn't know what the production team is throwing at him.
