Thanks dude Wanted the edit to feel as natural as possible and also readable, but halfway through, I was like, “LETS GO HAM” and the swing part was born The lore revolves mainly on the fact that DX is a virus infecting Sonic, so he’s still Sonic, just his personality is like turned up to 11 (Hero Complex, Legacy, Impatience) That’s why I struggled so much with BLUE, since originally it was gonna be Witty, but I realized I can’t write witty dialogue, so I tried to come up with something else 4 (I’m not kidding, 4) revamp later and I finally got Legacy, and I’d say it works quite well with the others Also, the name part is basically just the others think that he isn’t Sonic (since you know), but he’s convinced that HE IS Sonic, and he will prove it no matter what it takes. No matter what

@@endeadtubes You probably won’t read this, but here’s my take on DX: Right after the events of Sonic 2, sonic gets taken right back to the title screen, where the game starts again only that sonic feels like something is wrong, he asked tails what happened before but he only remembered everything that happened up to the point that the game begins so sonic beats the game again only to realize that he’s stuck in an eternal loop. He starts going insane, starting to feel like everything isn’t actually happening and that it’s all just a misconception of reality that he thought was real up until that point and that he’s just a pawn on a chess board to the “game”, but then he realizes that since the “game” isn’t really happening, but the outside world is (where nothing would repeat itself); he realizes that he can just manipulate whatever happens (creating DX), so he starts to try to attract real people into the game which leads pico to be sucked into the game unwillingly because all he needs is a single Invalid string of code that isn’t recognized to the game to destroy the entire game and break free from the system. He built a scenario where pico is a bounty hunter and Dr. Eggman sent him on a quest to kill him (which I’m pretty sure is a canon part of the game), which leads to the song. Sorry for the long comment waffling session over yessiree

I'm here going to the restroom at 5 am but just to watch this instead, Lyrics very good and like the part when in the red he screams two notes when probably no one's done it (the part when he dx says TIMES UP) and the editing is good especially the drowning part.

I can tell you how I do it this vid (scroll down for a tl/dr, this is a long one) So first of all, make sure the text goes to the middle whenever possible Unless if that part of the song with the line has another character singing as well, then make sure they’re in their one seperate places Always move em with keyframes as well Make sure the in and out animation fit with the song mood Make sure the loop animation fits the visualizer Make sure the keyframes feel natural Don’t forget the ease in ease out with keyframes as well One thing to remember, when you use in/out animations, the loop animations aren’t applied to those part and are only applied when the in/out animations are finished, so sometimes using keyframes are better The second phase uses two loop animation in two different text to make it fit with the effect The glitch animation and the wobble 3 animation Make sure the wobble is in the back If there are any uhhhh really DRUM part, make sure to use wobble 2, but only for a short time so it has that impact on the text And with “No more falsehood, this’ll be the end”, I just did it like the video and make it look like it’s zooming in With the rap part, it’s tedious as hell cutting and changing every word to fit with every note, but it is well worth it usually (Or you could do what I did for Pico’s lyrics in the swing part and make the text wobble2 to the beat) You can put the long note after the character’s turn behind the other character’s lyrics (one character lyrics are an exceptions) I do this for 3 reasons So that one note doesn’t take from the main focus of the lyrics (“CRIME” was a mistake on my part) So that I don’t have to move the text to their positions And so it has more impact since it’s larger as well Now for the drowning part Just find a loop animation that fits the whole drowning thing I used super wavy (I think that’s the name) and uuhhhhh The watermark does the same thing Make sure the text comes out from the bottom and use ease out as well Also make sure the text fits the character I wanted the swing part to not only BE good, but lok good as well And what better way to do that then to match the absolute chaos of that part (Though I might’ve gone a bit overboard on that part, so I apologize to the people who couldn’t read it) Same thing as the rap part, except the last 1/2 notes usually For that, you want to use the wobble2technique as well “Can’t turn back you see” usues it as well, but it matches to the beat rather than the last note For the phase 5 thatonepart, the OST vid carried lol I didn’t do as much as I did for the swing It’s just syllableseverynote in some parts And one note behind the other’s lyrics in that one part And keyframes for the beggining and end of Pico’s part For the final part Repeat the same thing once again Tl/dr -Text goes to the middle whenever possible Unless if two character sings, then put them in different places -In/out animation to the song’s mood Loop animation fits gameplay (loop doesn’t work with in/out) Use keyframes to make it smoother -Second phase both uses glitch and wobble3(in the back) -Use wobble2 to make it impactful (make it short though) -You can do the syllables per note, it’s tedious though -Put long note lyrics in different character’s turn behind the main lyrics -Search the loop for what fits with the part -Swing part. Syllables per note, but sometimes use longnotebehindmai and wobble2 as well -But most of all, go with your gut feeling, it usually works
