I honestly don't think this one is, it's basically just "every woman is actually Elizabeth Afton". Matpat's always been a fairly reliable source about the FNAF story but this one feels like a stretch at best. I would highly recommend checking out the latest Security Breath theories by Fuhnaff, I think the theory is a lot more well constructed.

I love the idea of a scene in Ruin where Circus Baby swivels around in a chair and says "I've been expecting you"

While you tell them to write their anger comments, I'm excited and ready to hear this. I always wondered why Elizabeth would take such a side but have no major events surrounding her (besides her death). Now I will continue watching. (Nice plug on the merch btw)

There is so much lore to work with on Stardew Valley and with how thorough you are I would be THRILLED to see it explained

Wouldn't it be hilarilous if the games ended with a twist that Afton never killed children, but rather that he was getting rid of robot children, either because they were getting "older" and needed their replacement model, or for some darker reason. In that way turning the perception of Afton as a vicious murderer that has been built for almost a decade now.

You said we would hate this, but this one fits together a lot more than anything else this Freddy Spaghetti game has given us so far. Keep going MatPat, you're on the right track!

I think that patent 46 is Elizabeth Afton because in the therapy tapes she sounds like she is talking to a child the and only thing that dose not fit is that she likes dark basements because she was trapped in sister location for a decade or two and in the vid Matpat says that their could be hundreds of her

With every new FNAF theory, it makes the original "Woah, there's 5 missing kids, and 4+1 animatronics! This is mind-blowing!" seem so much simpler

I'm just confused why wouldn't those other "Elizabeth's" show up before. Like, if they were built when Baby killed Elizabeth, then they're a part of this timeline since SL flashbacks. Still, somehow they never interacted with william, or michael, or henry, or the animatronics, or anybody at all. If this "Boss baby" really exists, why wouldn't she help william before? Were she deactivated before? then what or who got this older Elizabot to work? It's a fun theory and I kinda hope someone might be able to answer my questions, but I just feel like it's lacking a lot of information right now.

It would also make more sense for the internal memo from high up for Vanessa to become a security guard. It would also be the opposites thing in the therapy. If it’s different versions of the same person. It may be different stages of life for the likes and dislikes?

Y'know, I don't hate this theory at all. It's actually pretty neat, fills a lot of the plot holes, and is far more interesting than just handwaving the double Vanessas. It would also lean into the "Gregory is a robot Crying Child" theory AND the "Glamrock Freddy is Michael Afton" theory if Elizabeth is being the ultimate daddy's girl and trying to resurrect all her loved ones so they can be one big happy murder family together.

Would also fitt neatly with my personal theory that Vannessa/Vanny was the one who build Gregory! (Got that idea from one of the Help Wanted E-Mails where Luis talks about "Nessa" ordering "three lifelike human rubber masks". You know, exactly what one would need to make a robot boy look real xD) Vanessa beeing a rebuild of Elisabeth could also tie in to why she doesn't like basements (retro cd 9-7143, also hinted at in CD 11-7145 with Vanessa specifically calling out that she likes the blue sky), since Baby was looked away underground in sister location.

@@frost.0707 Scott is punishing the fan base for rejecting Dream Theory 100%, we had a solid conclusion and figured out the story line, Scott was about to reveal the content of the FNAF 4 box ( likely something related to dreams ) but the fans hated the theory so much that he had to walk back and redo the whole story. Now he's just trolling and making weirdest story possible, where it's almost impossible to solve as punishment.

And even when the robots aren't possesed, they have their own personalities and what they're programed to do. Vanessa would be a humanoid robot programed to "get" Gregory, Probably another robot programmed to stay close to another robot, Glamrock Freddy, and that would explain the glitch effect whenever Vanessa gets close to you, because she has a virus possessing her and another robot, Gregory, his software wouldn't know how to react and would detect a virus, but then why would Vanny only be visible to Gregory? That would make sense if Glamrock Freddy was possesed because if he was then he wouldn't be able to detect the virus.

If it was a soul or ghost they would have added something visually to represent that, making her semi transparent, adding a ghostly aura, something. The fact that it was just regular looking Vanny standing there looking down just didn't sit right with the idea of it being a spoooopyyy ghost. I had no idea what the alternative could have been, I assumed maybe a secret twin or something, but either way it just didn't feel right to claim 'Oh that's just her ghost haunting the building now.' when there weren't any visual clues to back that up.

Something else to help support this theory is the fact that when Vanessa catches Gregory and locks him in that office, and then talks to him on the monitors, Vanny appears and takes over the monitors. This whole transition happened in seconds, there would be no way that Vanessa could have changed into her Vanny costume that quickly, unless she wasn’t even Vanny in the first place

Once you finish cracking the fnaf lore make it a book, you would make so much money off of it

Matpat! I think that the owner of Fazbear Entertainment LLC is Cassidy because if Golden Freddy had never existed, Cassidy's soul should still be alive. This is supported by the fact that she wanted to keep on torturing him, and what better way is there to torture someone than to bring them back alive, just to endlessly jumpscare them with the horrors they themselves created? This is referring back to FNaF Ultimate Custom Night, in which all the other animatronics called Cassidy's soul, the one you should have not killed. Also, why would Cassidy be called Vengeful Spirit if she's in a spring lock-mode suit? All the other spirits are in animatronic-mode suits, and Chica was the first, so why would Cassidy be the one you should not have killed? Why IS Cassidy so IMPORTANT? I could never hate your FNAF theory vids MatPat. Sure they're not always a win and yeah sometimes they do prompt some nerdy rage on occasion but I do always enjoy watching and rewatching them. This clone thing in the FNAF books is similar to what happens in the movie Gemini Man, Scott Cawthon is a genius game developer. He doesn't reveal much about the story of FNAF, rather he makes us figure it out for ourselves. The lore of FNAF and DDLC is incredibly interesting.

I am so happy to see John here! He deserves all the recognition he gets and I am so excited for future theories cuz there is someone besides Mat who is just as enthusiastic and interested in the FNAF lore as I am.

Your 2 newest theories are one of the most controversial theories, but it also explained a lot of the plot holes this franchise had.

Not gonna lie, the idea of Elizabeth Afton and Charlie Emily still being alive, possibly knowing that their fathers refused to just let them die is actually a really cool story. One embraces her possible animatronic immortality, the other rejecting it to live a normal life as intended. I suspect this could be the story Scott/Steel Wool has for us going forward. It's a simple, yet very interesting narrative. Plus it really fits with FNaF's confusing at best lore. They're ALL the puppet! That's my theory, take it how you will, I guess.

Honestly? This theory makes a lot of sense. I mean really, who else outside of Elizabeth/Baby do we have in the series that would actively try to bring William back? Maybe Cassidy or some of the others who were looking for more REVENGE. But that's even more of a stretch then Baby being behind it.

The moment you see Matt on the couch saying 'your gonna hate this one,' you could tell it's gonna be an insane theory.

I would like to say that at the start of the vr game they say that they employed Scott to make the games(lore wise). So could that mean that Henry might not have died and it was fake? THAT means all the incidents and the shutting down of the fazbear company could all just be a fake story?

I personally think this theory makes a lot of sense given the rest of security breach's lore!!! I also think this is supported by the fact that the voice of Baby and the voice of Vanessa are both portrayed by Heather Masters--FNAF definitely has enough money to hire a different voice actress if they saw fit, but they didn't 😳

This kinda matches an idea I've had floating around that Afton was raising Elizabeth to be his successor , perhaps after she showed interest in animatronics at Jr's, taking parts of Mangle home with her and trying to rebuild it at home. It explained to me both why Mangle was in Elizabeth's room in FNaF4 and why Vanessa's therapist lines point to her feeding the therapist Elizabeth's backstory, not her own.
