I’m rewatching these theories (spoiler alert for Ruin) and it’s interesting how Gregory’s stutter at the beginning of Security Breach is the same stutter we hear when Cassie encounters the Mimic pretending to be Gregory at the end of Ruin. I love how it’s spot on, but it also makes me think more into matpat saying that we don’t know if Gregory is his real name/identity

Conclusion: William Afton is goddamn the most annoying, selfish, and indestructible character in FNAF.

The reason why Freddy said his vague response about Gregory being broken. He was originally meant to say that Gregory had a very bad cut. The following dialogue is: Gregory: "AH! My arm." Freddy: "I am detecting blood. You are injured." Gregory: "Don't worry about it. It's just a scratch from the vent. It's fine." Freddy: "Your arm is cut badly. I will take you to a first aid station." This is kind of a semi-censorship Steel Wool Studios did, probably to make the game kid friendly which doesn't make sense, because despite not having blood, Security Breach is still rated T for Fantasy Violence.

Gregory: Doesn't die MatPat and the whole fnaf franchise: something's wrong, I can feel it help me bots are in the comments

I'm coming back to these videos to gloss up on some FNaF lore, and honestly, I think the Glamrock Freddy being Micheal is pretty solid, and so sad. My god, is it sad, but also kinda wholesome that he's protecting the one child he wanted to protect all these years

You can actually see when Freddy's malfunction occurs on stage in the intro that Chica shows genuine concern when Freddy collapses. You can see she steps forward and looks at Freddy as a human would do if a friend had fallen over proving in my opinion that she is indeed friends with Freddy and hence Afton.

well, there's no doubt that the glamrock animatronics were actually friends and safe for children (i believe that when they are looking for gregory, they just want to bring him to vanessa and not hurt him, until he destroys them at least), i believe Michael doesn't have total control of freddy because Freddy already has his AI as a personality, but he can still influence his actions and sometimes talk for him (like when you find the blob)

@@piki.mp4 I’m pretty sure Another reason why Freddy can’t be hacked is because he is in safe mode, which could very well be Michael mode. And I’m pretty sure his battery isn’t that small. I believe that battery is the safe mode battery, that’s why when it runs out he kills you. I believe his “second wind” is actually him loosing safe mode power and switching to his regular AI. And somewhere down the line of running trying to get Gregory he got charged somehow, not fully but enough to restart safe mode and stop him from killing Gregory. But that’s just my theory tho, don’t take it for fact.

Fun Fact: Every Fnaf game's game over screen is a TV static screen. However, the only game where you don't is in FNAF 4 where you instead get a screen of blood

Yes but Michael Afton is the crying child not the guy with the foxy mask and I know you two are going to argue with me so let me explain after he got chomped by golden Freddy aka Fred bear. After he died William killed Charlotte causing him to discover remnant he studied this which made him discover he could give life and make himself immortal. In 1985 William killed five kids to use there remnant and inject it into his dead body he could be put back together. Michael grows up he sent to sister location to find his sister finds about his dad and we'll you know the rest

A little theory I had a while ago abt the whole how is crying child still around situation. Puppet gave life to all the MCI kids. She wouldn’t be the one to give life to crying child if he died first, so how would she be able to take the life away if she never had tht connection with him in the first case? Also, both william and CC were souls killed in the suits, so CC would in theory be able to put his soul in the cards similar to how William did. The same someone who figured out the chips for William would probably be able to figure out the chips with soul to make Gregbot. And yes ik abt the mimic=burntrap and glitchtrap theory but I just prefer to not agree with that until there is more evidence.

Isn’t it weird how in the end when Gregory wants to leave with Freddy and Gregory says “Freddy, if I leave now, nothing will change, will it? There will be more disappearances.” And Freddy responds with “Yes. I am afraid that is correct” meaning Freddy knows about the disappearances

Another thing to add; what does the name 'Gregory' mean? If the name Cassidy helped tie that character to Andrew in the books, then maybe names aren't random in this series either. And what do you know, Gregory is the English version of the name Gregorios which means "to be awake". Gregory, in this theory, is the Crying Child literally "awake" from death, from what many call the eternal sleep. And what do we always see with the Crying Child? A child too scared to go to bed is depicted as always awake and stays awake until 6am.

Notice how Gregory says to Freddy "I...I'm Gregory" that's the exact same line used by the mimic

HOL UP Gregory waants to get revenge on the anamatronics after what fredbear did to him (accidently, his mouth was jammed ) so he destroys the glamrocks to help freddy

I always felt pretty shitty about how Michael did so much to redeem himself, going through horrible pain while everyone he was trying to help was also trying to kill him, and he still kept going. So him possessing the suit of Freddy, leading a scared child through a situation to the end of his younger brother that he regrets so much, seems very fitting to me. It feels a lot nicer than him just burning in a fire after going through so much pain. I like to think he redeemed himself and had a bit of a nicer go at life for a while with Greg before he finally moved on, knowing he managed to at least save someone like his little brother when it was his fault in the beginning. Full circle, y'know.

This is a nice theory, but it doesnt seem to have much to back it up. Not being controlled by Afton can easily be explained by low power, low power means Fredbear cant send or recieve wireless signals from longer distances which explains that.

When I was watching Jacksepticeye play it and he was basically saying “it’s safer for this twerp to go tell the lady and get out of here” if this kid is in the foster care system with how broken that system is I can see why he’d MUCH rather chill with possibly gettin murked in this situation than potentially be harmed in the system. That’s what I think.

The maze was underground, according to what we see, in SB. The fire was I the labyrinth, but the pizzeria. The pizzeria was perfectly fine, might have even been sealed off

Think about the numbers, here. We have 12 confirmed possessed animatronics: Puppet (TakeCake), Freddy Bonnie, Chica, Foxy (MCI), The Funtimes (4 more), Golden Freddy (Bite Victim/Cassidy) and Afton. Then, there are the children from the SAVETHEM minigame, that die in the FNAF 2 location... Phone guy... And Michael. 19 lives, all said.

@@imzelone theres too many contradictions to gregory being a bot such as gregory feeling pain. gregory being cruel when destroying the bots against freddys wishes unlike the crying child who isnt cruel and even if he wass would be to scared of the bots to even go near them. these are only a few contradictions theres plenty more

It's not really "outside the box" the second Freddy said "you are broken" I immediately thought Gregory isn't a human. Glamrock Freddy being Michael is a new thought that I havent heard before though.

Here’s what I think: I agree with Micheal possessing Glamrock Freddy, but I believe he protects Gregory not because Gregory is The Crying Child, but rather he reminds him of his late younger brother, and by defending a defenseless child that reminds him of his brother, it’ll be his final redemption, preventing a child’s death from his father’s creations

Real quick, an idea I had was that the reason that Gregory reacts weirdly towards Vannny is because of something we haven’t seen since sister location. The sound discs. If you recall, the sound discs (MatPat covered it a while back) can disorientate someone’s (possibly something’s) senses. And the sense being modified the most? Eyesight. And if it was Afton that created them, could Vanny theoretically do the same? But that’s just a theory, a small hypothesis I have that I hope gets covered 🤞🏼

I think this is prob more towards the truth then what matpat said because honestly, I don't see any ACTUAL proof that Gregory is a robot at all besides the fact that his origins are unknown. Everything matpat said about him seems like a stretch like how come no one noticed Gregory before the game started. How was he in that room above the daycare and he didn't have any passes or anything before he met Freddy it feels like you can poke so many damn holes.

I love how MatPat when he was using the books for 80% of his theories predicted there would be like an 8 foot tall robot and most of us doubted him for it and yet in security Breach the giant molten freddy fits the bill for the description

@@ncluc3434 i thought of that like multiple times and like how matpat could secretly be conspiring with steel wool to make the fnaf timeline and edit the storyline whilst making videos. So hes essenctially the master mind behind it all

I like this fnaf theory thank you matpat this theory makes sense to me Gregory not just being the crying child,but being a rebuild version OF the crying child and glamrock freddy being Michael Afton makes sense and protecting Gregory a.k.a his little brother,thank you matpat

The REAL problem with this theory is the fact that all the endings are spoiled for mat, I was really excited to see his reactions to the true ending and Vanny room, I guess I will just have to hope that he prerecorded them

I agree. I didn't think he was going to go deep into the endings. I was staying just as blind as he was. My frown was great when I was the extra rooms and junk. Now I know what to expect when ever the prerecorded vids come out...which sucks

Me too. At this point I would be happy if the video is even just him reacting to the true ending. I really want to see his reaction to it right after seeing it.

His hesitation of saying his name is probably fear of being caught with the whole homeless situation.

Another Theory we can Add is: The man who rebuilt Gregory was William Afton. he was gonna activate the new Gregory but he had another thought to go destroy the animatronics from Fnaf 1. until they became their kid souls and then William got spring locked to become an undead bunny. but the reason Gregory activated is that something powered him. this is my own theory
