Ahead of the launch of the National Football Museum's new Batteries Not Included exhibition, we spent time with Arsenal Women and Lionesses star Beth Mead, discussing her favourite toys and games, her sparkling career and her hopes for the women's game.
Beth has her own place in the exhibition in the form of the first ever women’s football ‘Big Head’ collectable figurine. To celebrate the start of the Women's World Cup and bring a new piece of football memorabilia to fans across the country, McDonald’s teamed up with Beth to create 10,000 football ‘big head’ figures in her image.
Beth’s figurine can be seen in the Score Gallery exhibition. Limited numbers of these special edition figures will be available from the museum and at McDonald's UK Women's World Cup live screenings.
