It’s funny how the fans who were excited about Janine returning last year are now glad she’s left. Janine has always been this way. She makes EE far more interesting since she came back. The show would have been boring this year if she wasn’t here. The fact that so many people hate her is a testament to how much of a great actress Charlie Brooks is!

Thank god i found someone who thinks exactly like me🙌. some of these Eastenders fans cant differentiate a bitch character which makes the show worth watchable, and a bitch they let get to them they hate them and want them gone. Yes we all hate janine shes a bitch. But her character is what makes the soap entertaining. Every soap needs a janine. You need bad characters otherwise its boring.

I love how Linda puts Janine in her place, despite her (Janine) being pregnant. I was so glad at Linda not putting up with Janine's lies!

Scarlett will be a great character in about 10 years. She'll be the female Ben Mitchell. One minute sweet harmless child then the childhood trauma will come out as she reaches adulthood. Prepare for Janine-esque storyline around 2030

Janine is definitely one of eastenders greatest ever characters. She will worm her way out of it. Going to miss her being back on the screen the only character to be excited to see return and then clapping when goes. Great work Charlie

I said this when watching last night with my family, but as much as I hate how Disney are remaking their classic films in live action, Charlie Brookes does so well playing Janine, that, if Disney ever decided to make a live action remake of Tangled, Charlie would make the best Mother Gothel in my opinion. She just has it in her. Bonus points if it does actually happen since Charlie Brookes is a British actress with a British accent and traditionally, Disney Villains were played by British actors.

Damn Janine, always leaving in the back of a police car. There's lots of room to bring her back in a few years as well, as perverting the course of justice isn't going to carry that long a sentence (compared to some of the other things Janine has got away with in the past) Would be good to see her back in a few years as a *mostly* reformed character having been changed by her experience in prison as that's a side to Janine we've only ever seen in short bursts, but she's such a fun & iconic character I kind of want to see her get some kind of happy ending just for bringing the drama to an otherwise dull soap 🤣

sorry but I disagree after everything Janine's done over the years her character doesn't deserve a happy ending really her character should either end with her being permanently put in prison for murder or her being killed off maybe in some way similar to Nick where her closest loved ones like Ricky and Scarlett finally see that she'll never change and decide to let her die like Dot did with Nick. or something like that lol.

Im assuming Janine is already out again. She’s one of those characters where you can fill in the blanks later on depending on where they want to take the character… so easier just to leave it at a loose end

I really hope they somehow bring mick back fairly soon... otherwise poor frankie, waits 30 years to meet her dad then this, and Nancy and Johnny and Lee, but most of all poor poor ollie and the unborn baby what happens to that baby if micks presumed dead and Janine is in prison 😞 and even Scarlett she's now his stepdaughter I couldn't see him tuff her out just cause of her mum that's 6 kids, 7 if you include Scarlet and thinking about it him and Linda were gonna give their marriage another go so chuck Annie in there that's 8 children that lose their father :( he can't let them all think he's dead for 5+ years 💔

Let's hope Janine gets a 40 or 50 in prison to her crimes on not only to Linda. But also to Mick.

How old is Scarlett? She looked so broken at the mess that was her mother. Wonder what they are gonna do in regards to the baby? Perhaps once its born, it will come to live with Sonia and Ricky?

that's literally how she's exited multiple times before that would have been repetitive and Boring and she shouldn't have been allowed to get away yet again as that's what always happens its about time she was put in prison.

Janine crashed a car with Linda and her baby inside and framed Linda for it and it was found out what happened in the Christmas special resulting in Mick dying by drowning and Ricky called the police on Janine about the car crash

I've never seen scarlet, but how they have made her look & act- like an innocent butter wouldn't melt in her mouth very simular to ben when he was a kid. I thought was a bit ridiculous.
