@@cance7984 Why would it be so difficult to pronounce Dubrovnik in authentic way? If you took such an effort to come to Dubrovnik and film this, you could have done better home work and learn how we locals pronounce the name of our town

Hey Dylan amazing video like always! I'm from italy and wanted to clarify somenthing about the olive oil since i work in this field. So.. There actually is a thing called just "Virgin" olive oil and it depends on the acidity it has once pressed, if it has more than 0,8 % i can't be called "Extravirgin". Also Oil made from sansa is just the oil that comes out of the solid remains of the first extraction which always has still a little bit inside, it doesn't have to be chemically extracted althought in 99% of the cases it is!

How you figure that? I get that it is a thing, so in that way it would be "it". But from a grammar perspective it should be "him" as the name Dubrovnik is in a male gender.

@@bandrija1 No. You are wrong. English speakers sometines refer to the cities, towns, ships and anything they value as "she". So, in that logic it is she. The guy above explained it well from the Croatian grammar stand point that it is in fact a "he", male form.

@@bandrija1 I ja sam iz Hrvatske. No u krivu si. "She" iliti "ona" se ne odnosi na rod grada vec na postovanje prema ljepoti. U povijesti su ljudi usporedjivali ljepotu za zenstvenoscu i tako je i u jeziku. S gramaticke strane da grad je "it" (ovo, ono) jer je neziva stvar no pjesnicki i knjizevni itekako moze biti "she" i nije krivo. No cim ti meni profesorovu rijec citiras, znamo u kojem grmu lezi zec jer ti srz jezika ne shvacas niti duh engleskog. Znas ga napamet. Jgb care ja ti nmg dalje ponoc. Prihvati to ili ne, cinjenica i dalje stoji da sam ja proveo svoje godine u inozemstvu upravo s engleskim jezikom i znam ga u dusu. To jel tebi pojmljivo da grad, brod ili planet moze biti "ona" u duhu engleskog jezika, nike moja briga.
