He chose to immerse himself in life when the phone wasn't ringing and expand his awareness when movie roles eluded him. He spots authenticity and substance amidst pretense because he's heartful, discerning and respnse-able. Travelling teaches you to be more of who you are, have experiences that build trust and find people who become friends. Limits teach you to work with what you've got and find creative ways to leap when the rules say wait. Art follows nature, so follow nature, immerse yourself in life and the artist will emerge. Nothing stands in the way of an artist. We create with what we've got and make sure we have as much to choose from as possible. The interviewer was generous and both men gave a lot their listeners.
