In books Robb married Jeyne bc if she had gotten pregnant and had a Bastard child Robb didn't want his lady Frey wife to treat his child the same way his mother treated Jon. He married jeyne for honor and bc he respected/loved his brother but didn't want his child to suffer the same fate

Robb not only 'wanted' to Jon become his heir. Most people forget that he wrote testament accepted by 7 vassals and with 7 stamps before they went to Twins. And in this testament in 99% he legalized Jon as Stark and choose him to rule the North. This testament is still hidden, but I think that in books Jon also become King in the North. However no thanks to little girl's passionate speech but thanks to Robb decision.

Moni Ka honestly it's one of the greatest failings of the show that they are trying to make it out that it was the lords who chose Jon to be their King and not Robb who made him his lawful heir. It's why I got so pissy when Lord Glover told Sansa "we did not choose you but maybe we should have" I'm like !!!! Robb your original King who you swore oaths to chose Jon! He disinherited Sansa bc she DID present a threat to the Stark lands through her marriage to Tyrion. And then later by marrying Ramsey she did exactly what Robb was afraid of?! That someone would use their marriage to her to claim a lawful right to Stark lands/position/authority. It's why the Boltons claimed they were the lawful wardens of the North. But no let's ignore all of this and tease that the North is gonna betray Jon the same way the Nights Watch did. I can assure only one is gonna walk away from that fight and you better believe it's gonna be Jon.

Except for a few scenes where the actors really pulled out their best. S8 was very sloppily written. So many details were wrong, so many 'dots connecting things' etc. Jorah's death was a good scene. Varys still acted like the usual mastermind, just his death was so poorly written: How could the man who 'snuck around' the Mad King, drunk Robert, and crazy Goffrey, be so DUMB to send 'treasonous letters', so obviously, from the very Island-keep of the one he is betraying? Thats like the dumbest thing ever? Worse even then 'Dany forgot about Euron's fleet"....Or the 'epilogue', like 2-3 scenes? Thats it? "Thats the happily ever after' or bittersweet ending after 8 years in the making? Hah. Benioff and Weiss had GOLD ni their hands with this and they pulled a FUBAR on it... Call it Karma that they got kicked off the Star Wars project too. probably ruined their carreers now by rushing GoT, and delivering such a dissapointment. Dibs to the actors still, they tried their best!

Dudes, when Jon became King, can't describe my internal euphoria. For a TV show I don't think I've ever experienced such happiness for a character, and if it came to it, I'd say Jon is my favorite character. Joffrey, Ramsey, Walder Frey, Viserys, Tywin, and It doesn't seem like Cersei is going to last much longer. In the GOT universe you have to be balanced to survive. If you're too good you will get played. If you're too bad your people will turn against you... EX: the mad king

@Squirrelcake well, Bran cant have children since he's the three eyed raven. Arya and Sansa are both women meaning they won't be able to take their name(Stark) with them. Lastly, if they reveal Jon's true identity, he would have to use Targaryen. So right now, nobody can actually further their namesake?

there are existing instances of matrilineal marriages in the books. so if arya or sansa became queen of winterfell, they could marry someone of a lesser house or birth and retain the stark name.

Jon Snow is part stark and part Targaryan. His mother was Lyanna Stark, and his father was Rhaegar Targaryan. While he is true born of Targaryan, he could keep the Stark name because of his mother and Ned having basically raised him like an actual father. LONG LIVE THE KING IN THE NORTH!!!!

Most if not all the Starks are the embodiment of the indomitable human spirit 🙏🏼 even through the most horrible times they kept going

What is more hard than fighting a strongest enemy? Its killing ur loved one for sake of unknown world.. Jon is really strong or the time made him strong.. even though he didn't killed night king or cersei or anyone who killed his family.. he is still the hero of the GOT

1:52 is a cool moment. Seeing Jon Snow and hearing Alliser Thorne speak in background was awesome. They both are 2 of the best men that night’s watch had in it’s whole history. Jon was serving night’s watch and trying to help other people, mostly the wildlings. Alliser Thorne hated him for that, but mostly because he was a guy, who strictly and honorfully followed the rules of the black brothers, making him think allying wildlings was wrong. But you can see that they both respected eachother at most dire time. Even though Alliser was rough on him, he didnt pick on him during the defense of the wall. When Alliser killed Jon Snow, he didnt throw bad words at him. He simply said “Jon Snow did what he thought was right, I’ve got no doubt about that. And what he thought was right, would’ve got us all killed” Even though he critisized Jon, he still admitted Jon Snow didnt go against the night’s watch. That he simply did what Jon thought was needed to be done.

Well done. Very well done. It's fucking moving. Now is the time for Wolves. For House Stark! Winter is Coming.

arya isnt brave, no assassin is, an assassin rarely fights and when he does is when he knows he can win, jon on the other hand he is brave he never stops fighting no matter the ods he always gets back up with all this i just rly wanted to say that the definition of brave inst going into a battle knowing u will win its going into battle knowing u will lose even tho arya aint as brave she is most certainly one of the best characters

@@Andre-wn8jt It’s not mutually exclusive though. Why can’t they both be brave in their own ways? Everytime Arya fought or killed, there’s always a risk of dying. When she was pursued by the waif, she almost died. Her training and quick thinking saved her from dying. How is she any less brave than Jon just because Jon went to wars?

@@Lilnugget_96 the only time she truly was brave was wen she was getting pursued by that waif and in the batle agaisnt the dead cause she knew she would problably die even tho when she was getting pursued she didn't chose to and like i said the definition of brave ins't going into batlle knowing u will win is going knowing u will lose, john always did that (What imma say now has nothing to do with our discussion i just never understood and i rly wanna know)as u know john would die for anyone if it meant the other person was gonna live but i never got that sense from arya she was more like a imma kill for anyone type of person or was she more pike john?

As much as I love the Starks, that one line where Davos helps Jon get over his failings gets to me the most, "good, now go fail again".. I honestly couldn't cope with Davos getting killed in S8.

Wow! House Stark is amazing! Jon: a Targaryen and the king in the north a man that came back from the dead and the defeated of white walkers and the lord commander of the nights watch! Sansa: a young girl who with the help of her friends took back her parents throne Bran: the three eyed raven and the king of the six kingdoms And Arya: a faceless assassin with the most bad ass story of all time, and a survivor with incredible smarts

The worst ending was of jon snow. We saw him struggle and develop. But in the end his character got nothing. Even after he not only defeated the BASTARD norm,and got out of the night's watch after dreaming of it his whole life,he also developed an identity as The King In The North. In the end he's a Targaryen and not a stark but that proves how strong of a person he was who stood strong with the family who always reminded him of being a bastard. But in the end we see him making the biggest sacrifice of killing Daenerys, getting out of his own denial that she's going mad and doing what is right not expedient. They should've give him a better end. May be he shouldn't kill her but be involved in her killing. But the only king the whole show had was Jon Snow and the only Fighter it had was Arya Stark. The north was supposed to be ruled by Sansa Stark and Tyron Lannister was the Only Person deserving to be the king's hand.

After all they've been through, I doubt there could ever be anything that could classify as a "good ending" for the Starks anymore. Any victory came at a tragic cost.
