He wasn't sent to the north he returned to the north feeling that was his place beyond the wall. BTW it was end the stuff after was closure & formalities knowing nut jobs would critic & hate the ending. I love how people think they have a say or control over what someone else creates & writes. You nor anyone else that didn't like this ending wrote let anyone else hating didn't create game of thrones & so that only person who can have a say in it's ending is the creator of the storyline which he clearly did.

Kit Harrington bluntly said he thought the ending was disappointing, Emilia Clarke has stated how she disliked her death and how Jon received no real repercussions for it, Conleth Hill you can see throw his script down in disbelief after his character was killed off, Nikolaj Coster Waldau says that there was nothing wrong with the ending in the most hesitant, unconvincing way possible. Shall I go on? Trust me there are more.

The ended clearly was approved by Martin the creator of the saga & it's his creation not yours not mine not the actors Martins & to martin the ending was the right one & thus it was the right one. When you create something of your own you can end it however you want but when you have nothing to do with something you have no say in how it ends even if your an actor in the story. You didn't create it. Just because you are a fan of the story & want something probably cheezy happy ending to be how it ends doesn't mean that's the right ending or that you know better then the stories creator. Why do you think you are entitled to have a say in the way a story ends when you created nothing to it. Seriously? At the same time Dany living and taking the throne only trades one evil tyrant for another & Dany proved that she was no better then any of the lannisters in Dany killing all the civilians in the city. You didn't create anything therefore your desired ending isn't the right ending even when you hope & think it should be.

@craighanson-rc1md Clearly you're massively out of the loop. George R.R Martin has said many times before that after season 5 David Benioff and DB Weiss more or less stopped consulting him on the show, and come the final two seasons they didn't ask him anything and so he had no input in it's story. I'm not annoyed at the ending because I wanted as you put it 'something probably cheesy'. This attitude that fans can't know better than the producers of the show is utterly ridiculous. The entire ending might as well be a declaration of proof that just because you are a director it doesn't mean you know best. To take one example, Davos in the final episode tells the unsullied to start their own house, despite the fact that they are eunuchs and incapable of reproducing. Will you continue to sit and defend blatantly lazy writing in the name of 'the producers know best'? D&D made numerous poor decisions that Martin has hinted he doesn't agree with, and I respect his opinions and the millions of fans of his books a hell of a lot more than two producers who didn't know what to do when they cut the creator of the series out of the loop.

@@saggxnoah1979 Clearly you are in denial regardless it doesn't matter Martin had to give approval one the biggest sticking points when he gave permission was to stick to the basics of the books that clearly doesn't mean that had to literally stick to everything the books did or explain every little detail while giving room to go into deeper details in some areas. they had to cram how many books into 8 seasons & if memories serves me were basically up to the last completed book by season 4 or 5. In either case again your desired ending nor your opinion matters nor does mine & while you're upset you didn't get a happy ending & probably that dany died & turned out to be just as tyrannical as the lannisters doesn't make your ending the correct ending so get over it. Not to mention that the show ended what several years ago move on it's just a fictional story & even in fictional stories you don't always get happy ending or all the main characters surviving or good. Its just a story & you nor anyone else including myself have any say in how the creating person or persons choose to end it. That includes the actors. Again why do you naively assume you are entitled to a say or a demand that an ending other then the one you want is wrong when you didn't create any part of the story or the tv series?

yeah I watched the first 2 seasons with friends live. I stopped but they were extreme fans thru the years. They were crushed by the end. always told me not to watch the show. I finished recently and now I understand, everything is wasted in one shitty last season. They could have destroyed kings landing, the white walkers could have almost wiped everything as long as they had ended it right, with a proper queen and king by her side to rebuild the world in a better way

Truly the most disappointing ending of all time. Choosing Bran was a massive disappointment. It just didn't fit in my opinion. The ending felt rushed and poorly thought out, or not thought out at all. Greatest series of all time tho. We didn't want happily ever after, we just wanted something that made sense and fit with the story.

Actually he was sent north beyond the wall where man came from. Meanwhile Bran may have been broken but he was always fair in his thinking & could see the future. He was the only one not corrupted no corruptible. Besides you didnt create the story or the tv show why do you think your opinion or you ending is the right one. Both Danny's death and Bran becoming King only felt weird, since they skipped like an entire season of build up.

At that point no one realises that show is going pathetic every fan was with the flow. But later when they thought about it everybody felt disappointed.

The characters are all innocents but as actors they had no choice but to follow the script both Jon and Emilia are in tears
