That set me off just as hard as it did Arin, and his laughing fit fed back into mine, so it became a feedback loop that necessitated me pausing the episode and trying extremely hard not to laugh so hard I barfed. I don't know why I find it so funny, but god damn it sure is.

It's just so absurd! Like she's so happy about eating, like as happy about eating as Arin is about shidding. Then she's so proud about it that she feels the need to point it out. Then the one she points it out to is Hajime, who is a) singled out over everyone else and b) JUST showed up; she didn't point it out to anyone else there unless c) this implies she DID point it out to the others in a similar way and is continuing to do so one after another. THEN what possible reaction is there? She got there before Hajime and started eating before he showed up; why on earth would she point it out like she did? The answer is to set the scene that she was eating, but it's so far detached from reality, it's hilarious.

​@felixis6659 it's even deeper than that. when he gets a bad case of the swirly eyes (despair) he looks at his left hand, and when he's getting a little loopy (hope) he looks at his right.

I just love imagining if Arin and Dan were there instead and Arin would just shrug and let the place burn down while Nagito is inside grasping the spear like "ahaha, any moment now!" and then the sprinklers turn on and he just is stuck there all night gripping that damn spear like "fuck."

Dan in the first game "if I saw Pac-Man in this that would be weird" (or something like that) and now 1:25:46 look what we have here

Because Kazuichi being killed honestly would not have had any impact on the other characters tbh. All of the other deaths had some sort of emotional attachment.

Thank you for the "Writing the killers name on the wall" bit, because I completely forgot about it when watching the episode the first time. Wonderful!

If only for Arins reaction to it, "check it out I'm already eatin." has to be the highlight of this chapter. Now for a moment that stands on it's own outside of the grumps, I'm gonna go with Akane offering to let Hajima "cop a feel" and Sonia interjects with "don't do it for free. make him pay you first!" just how frank she is with suggesting prostitution fricking kills me.

17:11 is the absolute funniest thing I've ever heard for some reason. This playthrough made me ADORE Danganronpa as a whole, the characters, their stories and personalities, and of course the batshit insane plot and humor, and the Grumps just make it 100 times better

52:40 Arin predicts that the hand has it's own persona SPOILER: That hand is actually transplanted Junko's hand. I can't fucking believe their predictions, ether the game is painfully predictable or those two watch too much anime.

A definite highlight

Arin's laugh at "Check it out, I'm already eating!" is so contagious, he's just so caught off guard by the nonsense. It's the same vibe as "Today is football." I love his sense of humor and how it makes Dan laugh too.

33:10 Dan: "I think it was a suicide." Me: "Hm..." Edit: 1:15:14 Arin as Chiaki: "I'm a clone." Dan:"I swear to God, if she's a robot..." Me: "HMM..." After seeing how close he got to guessing the twist of the first game, I like to think Dan could somehow guess this one's too. All he needs to do is have more confidence in his predictions and not going in assuming that he'll understand nothing. He is way more observant than he gives himself credit for.

Meh, I think the main issue is just Ekoroshia sucks. I think the "intense" versions of the investigation themes are usually worse than the normal ones. Ikoroshia > Box 15 imo though.

see i find it so fun that dan brings up the count of monte cristo because like, out of pure and complete coincidence the character designer for the danganronpa games, rui komatsuzaki, did the character artwork for edmond dantes, aka the main character in count of monte cristo, in fate/grand order. he even looks a bit like komaeda lol

Have you noticed that Nagito's death is a mix between all the deaths from the first game? Still, it sure is amazing how Nagito made his case impossible to solve as Hajime keeps talking over and over about it and can't say who is the culprit, leading to Chiaki to reveal her true self

@@vincentbardai1096 from what i found... sayaka: nagito's stab wounds "junko": nagito being impaled with the spear of gungnir chihiro: rope tied on nagito's limbs taka/hifumi/celeste: nagito uses his luck to make everyone an accomplice in his death (very loose connection with this one) sakura: nagito's death was staged as a suicide, death by poison mukuro's corpse: nagito is impaled with an army knife in his left hand

It's funny how when Ally (apologies if misspelled) hinted at another twist, and then Arin thinks it's related to Nagito's hand major spoilers for the two anime arcs below, in a way, nagito does technically survive with a robotic hand so SO.... HE'S NOT FAR OFF, KINDA

Also this chapter was great, might be my favorite so far. I had them on in the background while driving and looking crazy laughing like an idiot to myself

When Fuyuhiko told Kazuichi that Mahiru would’ve beaten him up if she was there, I honestly thought to myself, “Well, whose fault is it that Mahiru isn’t here, Fuyuhiko?” I was kinda disappointed that Dan and Arin didn’t think back to that lol

Nagito's video message explicitly says he was going to be in the warehouse and would tell them who the traitor is, so they presumably wanted to make sure Nagito didn't die so they could find that out. Maybe slightly convoluted but it's not like there's no logic to it at all

@@shmunkyman33 To be completely fair, none of the characters in the scenario *acted* like Nagito was in there? Like yeah he mentioned it almost offhandedly in his video for them, but then none of them called out to Nagito before or after the fire started, and there was really nothing on screen or spoken that made them think he was in there while the fire was happening that would require urgency. Just like the Grumps I had completely forgotten Nagito stated he would be there, and frankly it feels like the characters did too.
