2nd comment: n00b ako. ano ang meaning ng 'kamatyas' ? i observe that 'matyas' means mate (probably checkmate but can humourously used to mean stalemate), so 'kamatyas' probably is a joke like we fellow chess players / chess followers are like fellow losers for RECEIVING mate? Or is it that we are the ones DELIVERING the mate?

Why else did FIDE change round robins into knockouts? I'm particularly reminded of this quote of John F Kennedy: 'The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie - deliberate, contrived and dishonest - but the myth - persistent, persuasive and unrealistic.' 7 - How chess960 players seem to be more honest than chess players re how the 2 only world classical chess960 champions in history Wesley So & Bobby Fischer (Bobby is honorary 0th world classical chess960 champion as a former world classical chess champion & chess960 creator; Hikaru is just the rapid WFRCC) have never cheated and have solid bases when they accuse people of cheating while the 2 highest rated world chess champions have cheated and have baselessly accused people of cheating (eg Garry accused Deep Blue of cheating.
