This is a short video recorded during lunchtime around Eyre Square, showing the city services operated by Bus Eireann and City Direct. Both operators make extensive use of Enviro 400s, although the Bus Eireann versions are hybrids from the Enviro 400ER range. These PAD Class buses are similar to the PA Class operated by Dublin Bus, and are used on all city services in Galway.

Yeah. Sadly I only had less than hour there as I was changing buses so was just a quick recording.

Paul from Belfast and Limerick, Galway dosen't have any VWLs left in service. That PAD could have been going back to the depot for other reasons and doubled as a staff transport at the time. Incidently ,don't criticise Galways BE depot , it's better than Limericks and will be developed next year. And we don't employ staff cars to transport staff

Nope it's being used for whole day from 6am-5pm and switched to other bus until 10pm and next morning does it aswell I know this cus I'm from galway and I live here for already 15 years
So the "depot shuttle" is that PAD I see parked up at (what passes for) the Bus Station when I go to Galway. It seems wasteful to use a new, expensive bus for these journeys. Would it not have been better to use an older VWL? Roxboro tends to use staff cars instead.

There is nothing but pads for it we have 15 VB's In Galway And 40 PADs Sometimes A Pad Does 424 or 419 even 425a sometimes schools get it too
