88KeysToEuphoria presents its newest release - an acoustic cover of “Galliyan.” Aakash was inspired by the simplistic nature of the melody to re-write the arrangement with a similar vision of minimalism. Incorporating a gentle blend of piano, acoustic guitars, cajon, and clarinet, this cover is a unique synergy of culture, flavor, and harmony.
Aakash was fortunate enough to showcase an exstremely talented group of musicians, including Clarinetist Shankar Tucker - a fellow KZread artist who runs the KZread channel TheShrutiBox. He also features guitarist Sanjoy Das and percussionist Rupak Dhamankar. And, as with his more recent covers, Aakash is proud to highlight the beautiful vocals of Jonita Gandhi once again.

I'm a Filipino from the Philippines and I love to hear indian songs...the melody and rythm ohhh very awesome... I'm falling in love with this kind of music even though I dont understand the lyrics and I feel so emotional everytime I listen to this kind of songs and music...loves it a lot...

yeah I agree. I thought this was going to be a super hit because obviously it has Akash and Shankar.. and the vocals really brought it down, sadly.

I'm so glad someone stepped forth and spoke this upfront. Jonita did disappoint in this song. She may be trained; in fact, I learn from the academy that she learned from as well, and our Guru feels the same way. She's good but nothing great. Her voice is husky and though that may sound amazing in some songs, it doesn't help her excel in all the songs she sings, this being one of the latter.
