An important point worth making about the protect baterry setting that tops out the charging at 85%. These phones are now using LiPo batteries instead of Li-Ion, which has a different chemistry and makes this setting much more relevant. Li-Ion are much less sensitive to this, but LiPo batteris are actively degraded by being either fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods of time. The way most people leave their phone on a charger overnight has the potential to significantly reduce the capacity over the life of a LiPo battery if you let it charge all the way to 100% routinely. As you stated, turning this off for days when you will need every bit of that battery does no real harm, but daily charge cycles that leave the phone at 100% for hours at a time will definitely add up. I've had to learn a lot about this working with high performance LiPo batteries for my drone builds. The ones in our phones don't have anywhere near the same output capacity, but they are essentially the same chemistry.

@Idkmanihatethis I don't know the details of why exactly they switched. Lipos have much higher output capacity than LiIon, but for an application like a smartphone, you really don't need that much extra capacity typically. For use in high Amp draw cases like racing drones, it makes a huge difference. But then, those at pulling over 100 amps at peak draw. Phones are low voltage low consumption. It's not that LiPo batteries are worse, just different.

The battery change came about due to the mining for Cobalt in Africa. The children and adults are working in horribly unsafe conditions. These mines are owned by China. People are being exposed to dangerous Cobalt without protection. The treatment and conditions are barbaric.

if you want to save battery dont let it go under 20% either, draining a lithium battery is not good for it. best is to keep it between the 20% and 85%

I play games & watch movies in flex mode but I have it so it's still the full screen for movies

Is it better to fold or unfold the phone when not using it, like during the night? I thought in order to protect the big display screenprotector it is better to let it stay open?

It doesn't really matter, as the pressure on the big display is constant, open or closed. However, to protect your cover screen and to make sure dust and other particles don't go on or inside your main display I recommend closing it. Then again, it doesn't really matter as long as you place it carefully on a surface. Also, just blow off the dust or any particles before closing when opened longer then a couple hours without using. It's a strong device, but one sand part can instantly destroy your screen.

I can't seem to find fingerprint sensor gestures on the fold 5 but I definitely think it was on the fold 4 do you have any idea as to why this may be.

Don't believe it's on One UI 5.1.1 unless they moved it into good lock. Don't think I found it stock yet either

Okay so battery drained from 78% to 73% in 35mins on the big screen with wifi. That's roughly like 10-11hrs of use before full drain. Is the battery good in this regard?

Yea. Phones can easily go down 10% per hour if continuously using. That can differ on what is being done and at what Brightness.

How do I keep KZread playing when I go and try and do your suggestions , or so I can fold the phone when I sleep to keep KZread playing

All of a sudden the little microphone on my keyboard for me to do talk to text disappeared and, it's taking me like 4 or 5 Seconds to hold anything, to go back to go to the home screen and then when I text it won't let me type or talk to text I'm sorry I'm not going to erase this and start over because it will take me a half an hour. LOL help I literally have to hold every button for like 4 or 5 seconds I don't understand what it's doing and it's giving me this big round circle every time I tap the screen

False!!!! I had 11 applications on my screen earlier today I think I got to 13 and just gave up. But there is no 3 or 4 app limit on the new.z fold 5

Dude, breathe! Talking at 100mph doesn't offset the endless repetition and filler words. Even your opening sentence was tautological (where it wasn't grammatically incorrect!); so, please slow down, plan what you're going to say, then say it, clearly. There's great content in your video; but, it gets lost in the noise... 35 minutes is a big ask of a YT-Viewer, this could be dramatically shorter without losing content.
