Same here - moving from S23U. Wanted a Fold for ages.

Im totally upgrading to fold 6 from fold 4 especially after fold 4 internal screen died one morning without warning thankfully within 2 years replacement warranty. The fold 4 internal screen definitely has major quality issue as many had shared , while external screen has inherited too narrow screen since fold 1 until pixel fold finally woke samsung up !!. Thank you Google . This fold 6 finally has the balance of being totally usable and holdability comfortably.

I have had the Fold 4 and Fold 5 for the past two years and I find it impossible to go back to a regular phone. Having the larger screen allows me to do things that I used to wait until I got back to my PC to do.

After 6 generation, I've come to the conclusion that you should upgrade on a 2 year cycle to get the most out of your buck. If you consider the depreciation and the samsung trade in deals, a 2 year cycle is the way to go. That is if you are able to afford your fold outright from samsung here in the states atleast.

I pre order the phone using my z fold 5 for the credit and I purchased the 1tb. The 7 years of software updates and patches. I'm sure i will be trading this phone next year for the fold 7🎉

Marketing 101 for everyone. These phone manufacturers are able to release everything in one go. However by doing that neither Apple nor Samsung will have anything to “upgrade” for next year. So the goal is to monopolize one feature and blow it up and slight side improvements. If you guys think Samsung cannot give you an s pen and s24 ultra camera on the fold your wrong 😂but what else would they bring out 😅 for next generation phones

I m sure it's a great one but just compared the thickness and weight of this phone with the honor magic v2 model a year ago, I seriously laughed. I have all iPhone, s23 ultra, honor magic v2, ipad and tab s9 -😂 guess what's I only left with in my daily use?

You barely see the crease under the sunlight thanks to an improved peak brightness level of 2600 nits and the flexible display layer has been improved too! Note this, the Z Fold 6 now supports IP rating of IP48 😉

There’s needs to be a ultra version for z fold otherwise there’s no point upgrading from the s24 ultra to the fold

Had the fold 4 and exchanged it for the s24 ultra. My inner screen on the fold 4 broke after a year of use so I was so mad. I do like the s24 ultra but I just missed the fold Form factor. I'm not happy about Samsung not upgrading the camery and battery on the Fold 6 but I'll willing to give it a try. If I don't like it, I'll return it

Its absurd to wear such a huge watch display. 🤢🤮 A 43mm its just the right size for most...

I hate when they put their bias on it and say its not worth the upgrade, when that worth is subjective. Just because it isnt worth it in your opinion, doesn't mean it isn't worth it for someone else. The new form factor alone was enough of a reason for me to trade my F5 in, so every other feature upgrade is just icing on the cake.

The crease actually looks worse, I’m not even kidding. This is now the 6 gen fold and it looks worse than oppo’s folding phone.

I went to see the phone in person this morning at Best Buy. The crease is actually improved by a lot. I agree, in her video the glare makes it seem worse than the fold 5 but in person looks wayyy better

Oppo's is just wider, but it's still there. All foldables will have a crease, especially after use. My Fold 5 looked almost creaseless for the first few days.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 is barely an improvement over the last 2 models. Samsung has become complacent, the Fold is using the same cameras as the S24 which costs less than half its price. Yet they have the nerve of increasing its price this year!

Apple is basically doing the same thing except they kept the same design and slightly improve chip and tell people ground breaking improvements(something a salesman will say to sell a product). I'm currently using the fold2 and I already pre ordered silver and silver buds pro. My sister uses the iPhone and she is still using the iPhone 13pm and she isn't upgrading for awhile, she went to check the 15pm at Apple store and she tells me the camera is barely an upgrade
