@@CKidM the excitement I had waiting for the delivery driver to drop it off on launch day was unreal 😂 it is real fun to use. My partner bought me the watch 5 on my birthday on the 28th of September. Loving all my Samsung stuff haha 😄

I just purchased the flip. Fold spec wise is better but just to big for me.

The magnet thing is because there is a magnetic sensor to tell when the phone is closed. So when you are closing the phone, the magnets in the phone engage and this signals the phone that it is closed, so it shuts off the inner screen and switches to the outer screen. By putting a magnet up to it, you are triggering that sensor so the phone thinks you closed it. If you kept the magnet there and pushed the power button again, The little outer screen would come on, rather than the inner screen, because the phone would think it is still closed. The magnetic solution is better than having some sort of internal wired switch, because those can deteriorate or break, which would cause a lot more issues.

Tbh the Z fold 4 is in a class of its own, Therefor to give iphone a fair chance, It should be compared to the Galaxy s22 Ultra

I don't use my phone to take videos, take pics or don't really care for battery life cuz what the hell is a charger for? I use my phone for the purpose of purely entertainment with watching videos and movies, KZread and Netflix for the most part, and for that purpose, the z fold 4 is my phone of choice. The multitasking works well for me too, trust me, it's not a gimmick. The real estate the phone offers is unmatched.

I was thinking of trading my fold 4 for 14 pro max then I open it up and I have to think twice. It's great having the big screen especially for photos and watching videos.

That's also what I was thinking of doing. My sister just got the 14 pro max and her camera quality is amazing. I try taking pictures of my kids on my fold 4 and it doesn't focus on capture as fast as the 14 pro max. The camera would be my only gripe with the fold 4. It takes great pictures if nothing moves 😆

Foldable is on another level in experience. Phone and tablet in one

Try to use the remaster feature on your pictures bro, it helps a lot with our kind of skin tone. Also, I used to be Team No Case until I got my Z Fold 4 😂😂😂 I just can't risk it lol

It take apple 7 years to put alway display on the iPhone and all they do is dim the screen. Brilliant.

I'm an iPhone 12 Pro Max user who's planning on upgrading to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 next year when it's released. I'm hoping Samsung will find a way to incorporate their best cameras into the next generation of Z Fold but I'm not counting on it. One other thing I do wish is that Samsung would add is S Pen support to the cover display. Sometimes you just want to whip out the phone and jot down a quick note or something.

I respect Iphone and but is boring as hell. Is fast and easy to use but omfg is so boring.

The locking screen effect is probably there if you have a specific case. Some cases have magnets in them and lock the screen when the front case covers the screen. 🤷🏾

Where you get your lock and home screen from on your Z Fold 4.

There is just absolutely no innovation from Apple anymore. I switched to the fold 4 and have no regrets.

I'm racking Zfold 4 productivity beast, love this phone.

FYI:If you leave the brightness set to Auto on the Z Fold4 it gets brighter then the Extra Brightness setting..

I prefer no case as well, but with the high prices of these phones, I would put a case on. I know myself, if I drop my phone and see scuffs and scratches, it would bother me and I would end up buying a new one. So for my sanity, I need to put on a case

Definitely still my Android of choice right now. So I get it.

All down to choice\preference. One word for me sets the two apart. Only one of these has dex and I personally use that shit all the time.

S23 ultra " s-pen include " is a great experience to compare with iPhone 14.. as for fold 4 camera and battery is no so good.. from my experience, even fold 5, just an update from fold 4, not a major upgrade ❤ love ur video .. need more like this

2:40 I bought two cases in black for my phone (Note 20 Ultra) but they both felt annoying, I prefer using my phone without a case.

Trust me when using the phone you don't see the crease, after 30 minutes of using the phone you won't remember that it's there.

I am getting galaxy fold 5 . Trading my iphone 12. Good reviews. i enjoy it

I recommend people who want an iphone save their money and just get the 13 pro max, besides the dynamic island there isnt much difference. I feel as though the Z fold is in a class of its own and i prefer it to any slab phone. I own the z fold 4 and feel there isnt anything the iPhone does better that makes it a must have over the z fold as multitasking, gaming, content consumption, e-reading, and productivity are all much better on the z fold. With the openness of android allowing third party apps to solve some of the things that benefit iOS. If you really want the best camera, i believe the iPhone and the pixel 7 pro are the two phones to focus on. If you fit into an ecosystem, likely you will buy the phone that falls there. But overall the z fold 4 is the best phone ive used overall

We're so spoilt for choice these days. I think it comes down to ecosystems like you say. I have the Fold 4 but I just like innovation and nothing out there compares to it or more importantly the way Samsung have implemented it. Who would have said 5 years ago you'd have a mini tablet in your pocket? I love my Fold 4 and yes it's better in small ways than the Fold 3. Great video👍🏾

Bro I know it's hard to see but there are 6 cameras if you open up and look at the one that you know that's there look slightly. To the left and you'll see the 2nd one. It's actually hidden. You have to look hard but they are 6 cameras

That’s weird on the z fold with the lock feature. It also happens with a old Samsung tablet that I use at work. HOWEVER it doesn’t lock the screen it just turns it off and turns back on after you move the magnet but then again I don’t have a password on my work tablet. This tablet is from YEARS ago btw

Im not going to get into all that technical shit because at the end of the day, all the premium phones are identical. Most important thing for me is pimpness and Fold 4 does the job for me. It's unique and not everybody and their mamas carry one so it adds to that exclusivity, that pimpness. Iphones have no character ohhh look at me, i carry a boring iphone just like every other jagoffs out there lol. People just hate on Folds cuz they cant afford one. It's really the best phone our right now.

Had my Fold 4 for 3 months now, going back to apple as soon as i can. The fold is an amazing phone but the vibe just isn't there and the apple eco system just works togther so much better. Gutted because i had such high hopes when i got it.

I like hinge protection and an s pen holder but I don't like the bulkiness of those cases. Urghhhh! The struggle is real. I also can't find a good screen protector for the front screen.

So Apple is not in the same solar system but yet was the first to build out an ecosystem of products that all works together flawlessly, which all other companies followed, they have their own Operating system and don’t rely on another companies platform to run their devices, they started the phone launch events which everyone followed, Airdrop features (which everyone followed and still can’t get it like theirs). IMessage which is still top tier and others can’t compete. You just talking out the side of your neck. Keep this saved. When Apple decides to do a foldable phone that’s when it will become a real thing people adapt. Remember Apple moves the needle in this smartphone space not Samsung. There’s a reason that Apple is so cash rich and a trillion dollar company. Go look at the investor sheet. I’m not lying.

You're comparing a candy bar style to a foldable, it's apples to oranges which shouldn't be. Compare the 14 Pro Max to the 14, 13 Pro Max, S21, S22 Ultra or the up and coming S23. The Fold 4 to the Fold 3, (please forgive my spelling of brand names), Huawei foldable, Xiaomi foldable, Vivo Fold, etc. I've been using the Fold 3 for a year now and would never go without a case on it but that's just me. I have friends who don't use cases on their Folds but that's the chance they're willing to take. To each their own ! As for the phone locking out when a magnetic device is next to it may be a security factor to keep your phone from being hacked or having your data and files being erased. Don't Quote me on that, I'm not the tech guy for Samsung !
