A lot of people seem to like these folds, especially to switch from iPhone!? Just wondering of the lower durability on the screen is worth it.

I use Samsung free on a daily on my Note10+. I watch/listen to Bloomberg and others news channels all from one app. It has an array of other channels that keep me and my little cousins entertained, so anyone has a use case for it depending on your preferences. To each their own.

First thing, unlock developer settings and set animations to .5x

This is an amazing video, thanks so much, just ordered two Zfold 4s today. Keep them coming, great job, very informative. You've substantially lowered my unboxing anxiety level.

@@PointBlank65 it's not dust resistant, but it is water resistant. You def shouldn't put the top screen down without wiping the surface first. But I could just be neurotic since I just got it

Good timing. Mine just arrived this morning and I spent all day customizing app placement, logins etc. It takes like a week to move into a phone now. This saved me some time.

Only took me a few hours to set mine up but discovering everything this phone has to offer does take time, but that's a good thing

Just got my fold 4 yesterday and rewatched this vid... SUPERLIKE!!!

I have mine since Tuesday. Looks great on the outside, very sleek and nice edges. Now to set it all up.

Just got a Fold4 last week, this video was helpful. Would be nice to have some more tips and tricks videos

My favorite is to go into accessability and change the 'Touch and hold delay'. I think the default is 1 second and the lowest is .5 seconds. There is a custom option. It's kinda tricky, but I like to set it at about .3 seconds so when I'm holding something like the home button or a link it responds faster. Its amazing how this small tweak makes the phone feel so much faster! That and of course reducing the animation times in developer options makes even an older phone feel blazing fast

Great video learned a ton. One more question...how on earth do I control the volume quickly on screen? The control center makes you pull down open control media then swipe. The must be a shortcut right?

Excellent video. Just got my 4 today. Literally ordered yesterday, the day before launch and its here! Props to AT&T, and they were offering a thousand off with trade in of any garbage Samsung in the drawer. Really couldn't pass up the deal. Also included the the 500gb and free case with S Pen for the price of the 200GB. I'm in love with it so far. One tip for the side key o like to make the double tap go flashlight mode, and with another double tap, it turns it off. Really I use it more than I should have too lol. Subbed the channel $👍

The flashlight tip is really useful! I hate finding myself in a dark area at work and having to go through all the steps to open. I'll be using that one!

And I love the edge panels on the Note 20 ultra. I may stop using them because the new task bar. Unless they are also available on the cover screen. Also the one handed + has always been a must have for me. Easy to set up shortcuts for apps and there's no need to search apps. Spotify, KZread, and podcast addict all have a dedicated long swipe gesture

I'm on Do Not Disturb mode 24/7, but it's never turned on. My phone is just always on silent mode. Productivity hack to control your phone use rather than notifications control you.

Enjoyed this video very much as a 1st time Fold user. The 1 suggestion is for the presenter to slow down his narrative. IMO he assumes a very high level of familiarity with the device. I was constantly having to stop/pause or go back 15 sec to follow his talk.

Making a custom one is a much better bet. The stock options are rather harsh and tinny.

Just ordered my Z fold 4 and watch 5.

I really want to buy this device but I’m waiting for iPhone 14 PM to launch then I’ll decide. What do you guys suggest ??

Face unlock on any other device besides Apple devices with 3D scans is way less secure. I highly recommend sticking to the fingerprint scanner. With Samsung's latest security breach I wouldn't risk anything and maximize your security on Samsung devices. I'm saying this as a long time Samsung user too.

How do you get your clock to be top center on the front screen?

I got the z fold 4, and I like it. It has alot of features I have not learn about yet. The only thing i don't like is the battery life. It kinda socks but besides that I 100% recommend this phone.

Nice video. Phone it’s a lot cheaper than 2k with the discounts they are offering. Not sure if they are still offering them but I ordered mine a few days ago and it is actually cheaper than my note 10 plus with trade in.

I'm having an issue with the cover screen. I'm using Nova Launcher, and I've configured my main screen, but then if I remove an app from my cover screen, it disappears also on my main screen. I don't have the cover screen mirroring enabled, but I have no idea how to customize my cover screen without it effecting the main screem layout. Also, I chose a wallpaper for my homescreen, but it doesn't appear on my cover screen. It's just the default wallpaper from factory.

Dude I have tried forums on reddit I have tried thing but and i've even tried it to figure out how to extend the area like make my geo fence bigger, I even attempted to just add multiple addresses or pin drop locations in the area in which I am in I tried like five of them one time. Basically laying and over laping on top of each other... Thinking maybe in the areas where I cross over I might actually be able to get it to work but no. Smart lock doesn't even seem to work when I have it plugged into my truck connected via bluetooth. It always wants my fingerprint in fast forward and i'm not dumb i've been through this a few times i've tried several different settings and set ups and i've made sure it's enabled i've disabled and re enabled it i went through every setting i could basically without having to jail break my phone. This feature "SMART LOCK" does not work period 😒

Does anyone know if you can up the screen resolution like you can on the s22 ultra ?

Is there a sitting to make the very recent notification stays on the top? This is ridiculous, most of the time when notification alert it's very hard to see right away which one is recent. New notification often ended up somewhere in the middle or bottom. Sometimes I can't even tell. I have use an app called Recent Notification so can easily see the recent to past notification easily.

Does the S-Pen come with the phone, or do you have to buy it seperately?

Love my ZFold the front screen scratches so easily. Get a screen protector even though it has a built in one. Put one on top of it. It scratches so easily.

Does anyone know if with the 50mp sensor (that defaults to 12mp) you can change it to the full 50mp? I’m curious to see if it makes a significant difference in photo quality…

yes, you can choose to shoot in native 50mp , and the quality difference is only noticeable when you zoom in alot

I'm having trouble with Facebook not being completely full on the cover screen after setting the ratio to full on the outer screen

The 4 will be my first fold phone. I love using the pen on my Note 10. Do you really think I'm at risk when useing the new fold pen of scratching the screen?

nope, not at all as Samsung has put alot of research into making the pen on the Fold even a possibility and I use my pen everyday on my Fold 3 and not one scratch to date. Enjoy your Fold 4, you gonna love it... byeee 😊

Samsung specifically created a Fold-safe pen. My older pens (S22U and Tab4) won't work on the Fold because they're unsafe.

It always baffled me that Samsung thought a curved screen is the best situation for writing on. Terrible choice for a device that is about writing notes. I always have to avoid the edges and usually forget when I'm walking and making a quick note

Not to mention the fingerprint reader was so inconsistent under a glass screen protector. With the fold 4, you can have a glass screen protector and have a fingerprint reader

i have been a heavy edge panel user for years. And now i dont have my edge apps as i had on my S21 ultra. I had calander there. i had a calculater there. my sms list etz etz. so i still have the gesture move to find the calander in mu muscle memory. and thats damned enoying. So thats a big buu against samsung to have the edge panel. But they havent added the app store for it. So you are ONLY able to use the stoc ones.

The inside screen is not the same, and the regular s pen is not made for it

The regular S pen would not work. You need to get the Fold edition S pen which is meant for the inside screen. Which makes me wonder why he said he wouldnt use it in order not to scratch the inner screen.

The s pen has like a spring effect if you push the tip too much it will flex in.

@@ericosoave call your service provider and ask if you can change to priority shipping. Also I talked with mine today (At&T) and they said that the date is only an estimated delivery date, (mine says the 24th) but it ships in 1-2 business days usually.

@@justnick222 Dude after I saw your comment I contacted ATT and practically begged them to expedite and they basically told me "sorry dude, it's only on pre-order until 25th" I even made up a story about leaving the country for an extended period of time and needing to get the phone before leaving. They still said no. Then I got a notification today that it has been shipped and expected to arrive Monday. Better than Friday, that's for sure!

I hate that for a while now, that they took off shortcuts in the media button.

Did some changes based on this video. I have a problem now I can't figure out. The swipe down menu (system toggle?) pops up all the time, it seems that if I barely touch the button on the side of the phone it launches. Anyone know how to stop that behavior? Edit: found it. Advanced Features> Motions and Gestures > Finger Sensor Gestures So many settings, it's hard to find something that bugs you.
