The video out thing is interesting, because I contacted Samsung about it and they said its supports video out. I haven't bought this tablet yet to try out, but from the specs it should support USB 3.2 gen 2 (DP out). You want to use an displayport alternate mode cable according to their recommendation.

Same thing for me. This is my go-to Samsung tablet source as well. Your S6 Lite videos were very useful when I got the Samsung s6 lite and although my s6 lite sort of needs replaced I think I can wait until next Black Friday probably since it still does so well for everything I need it for. About a year from now I will look forward to checking out videos here to find the next s6 lite replacement I'll need. You cover everything very well, no gimmicks, no bs, just really good information, well thought out reviews and good advice on the best options. Never lose that. That's the key to why this channel is as good as it is.

i have a 7 FE and am still happy with it. I had an older s6 lite and then bot the s6 lite 2022 version (same specs). i think the earlier/older s6 lite version is still snappier...ive heard the s7 FE compares very favourably to the 9 FE plus....also trade in prices uk are terrible for samsung, so think ill stick with the 7FE

currently own the s7fe, should i make the upgrade to s9fe/+? it would take an additional of roughly 100USD if i sold my current tab and the free gift it comes with

In italy there is a promotion where you can get the 256gb version at the same price of the 128gb...and then a 50% on accessories...the s9 fe (8gb ram 256gb) + the keyboard slim would cost 597€ does it worth it or i should consider to wait maybe for other promotions? That’s a good question; still waiting on mine but I can tell you that FE is thicker than the regular S9. On the face and back of the tablet, it should be able to cover it, but I question the fit on the side, given that it’s thicker

In your case, either one would be cool - if you are on a budget, go S6 Lite, but if budget is not an issue, DEFINITELY go for the Tab S9FE

Question,.. Why should I buy a tablet instead of a laptop for use inside my house... ? As I always use my old Ipad 3 (2012) via the chrome,.. Visiting webpages or searching for things on it.. I cannot decide ! I want a bigger screen than the 10-11 inch.. But maybe I find a laptop nice but too big on the table.. As I have a pc upstairs for my most usecases.. But because I don't have and don't want a smartphone.. I need something in the living room.. But I quest myself.. A tablet is faster/easier to start up.. But as I never use apps on the Ipad now, because the ipad is old and doesn't run most apps. I only use the chrome... I still delay my decission..

I had a Tab S7+ and felt it difficult to fit it in life. I had no productive use for the tablet as I used my laptop for that and it was a waste of money for watching videos since reading and browsing were awful in portrait mode with the aspect ratio and weight. Having realised that, I sold my S7+ for $480 and picked up a new Mi Pad 6 for $240. Frankly, if reading, browsing and media consumption is all you do then a tablet with decent specs and good audio/video like the Pad 6 does the job well while saving a lot of dough. Oh and the USB 3 port is great for transferring content and also mirroring it to monitor and TV.

Thanks for your answering. My problem with most laptops is that they have lower quality of screens compared to tablets.. Most tablets have better colourspace. As I don't want to spent a lot on a tablet or laptop for this use next to my pc... I see some laptops now that come with an oled screen. They are 699 euro's here in 15,6 inch with a I5 processor. A pad 6 in 11 inch is 350 euor with 6gb ram. But as I opted for a bigger screen like the samsung s7 fe or s9fe.. I was eyeing a Lenovo Tab P12 with 12,7 inch. It's 380 euro's with a pen. So it has a good screen. But as I said.. Maybe a laptop with a keyboard and mouse is not that handy on a diner table but maybe more in my line of experience.. @@user-yj9vv7ti3p

I bought this for animation in Clip Studio Paint. I animate at 10fps, and it very often skips and lags between 7-10fps even when no pictures are drawn, and even if Clip Studio Paint is the only app running. I as wondering if the chip inside is too weak. I have the FE 256gb model.

The chip is not that great, yes, it's marginally better than the Snapdragon 778G in the S7 FE Wifi.

Unless they're side by side, you will love both. I have both amoled and lcd screens and the amoleds have darker blacks, that's really it. The s9 fe+ fe screen is super bright and has great colors so dw

Such a good question; I meant to test that out and completely forgot. I believe (although not through DeX) there is a wireless screen through wifi you can try. I will check on that

Would a Tab S6 lite (2022) still be good purely for student work in 2023? Thoughts anyone? I'm currently a student and on a very tight budget and is kind of going through all the possible options for a student. I'll mainly be using the tab to take notes and maybe stream KZread and Netflix.

I have been using tab s6 lite 2020, is it worth upgrading to s9 fe plus? One more thing, i always use the Dex mode but the whatsapp windows always cropped at the text box area so i cant read what i typed in. Is it just me or the same in every Dex? Btw, nice video 👍

At 599, it certainly isn’t cheap, but I’d argue that it does have a lot to offer at that price point - if you are trading in another device, you’d definitely be able to take advantage of some major discounts. Will give even more details on that price in my full review.

It's a cheap Samsung device, what more can you expect. Never buy Samsung cheap/lower-middle end models. Wait till the Laxynose processor starts its game and make the tab hang again and again. Don't believe these influencers.

Nibs are pretty cheap. Much like Apple pencils, best to get a small pack of replacement nibs, or you can buy the higher end SPen which holds up better. Plus Bluetooth.

Lol, you shouldn’t stop taking notes. You must be applying a lot of pressure while taking notes for it to be rubbing off already, but you don’t need to press hard. A gentle push is enough

We do not get any extra nibs with th S Pen that comes with S9 Fe+ Tab. What are our options if the nibs on given S Pen wears out? This is my first time purchasing a samsung tab so it would really be helpful if any of the old users could share their insights

Steadtler or wacom one pen nibs work. Or you can get third party ones for dirt cheap but I don't know if they cause any damage to the pen.

The problem with all S9 FEs are it won't age well. I know Samsung will support at least 4 years. The problem is SoC, it is not powerful enough to bring the tablet for 4+ years. Do not get the wrong idea, for now its SoC is decent if not good. Exynos reputation is not good. Exynos 1380 in A54 is great, it has significantly fewer pixels and more RAM. Although, I can see who will buy S9 FE. Those who need stylus to take notes, Samsung Notes is the best note taking app for Android. It is S8 FE at best

Tbh I think people exaggerate the importance of chips in everyday use. Because more often than not, it will perform well for the average user and their menial tasks. Technology is not where it was ten years ago. The chip will not slow down significantly unless the company does it purposely.

S9 FE's SoC won't age well after 4 years. If you plan to use the tablet for a really long time SoC and software are the most important thing to see. Problem with Exynos SoC is the instruction available which might not be used in current era but will be useful in the future. What I learn about Exynos series are Samsung cuts something that is not shown in the spreadsheet that won't impact you immediately. Usually the cache memory, both L1 and L2 which is important for the snappiness. I haven't checked it thoroughly, the first thing you give up is AV1 decoding. A really important decoder to enjoy better quality video with same or less bandwidth which is the standard set for future

I am personally all about Samsung but when it comes to Samsung making cheaper tablets and adding Exynos Chip. I am going to tell you, you are going to regret it, the Exynos chip is the worst. I used to have it on the tab S6, but it constantly kept getting stuck, and don`t even try to play racing games or role-playing games, it can not handle it. you have been warned, save your money until you can afford the one with the Qualcomm chips, I have the tab S7 and it is still running perfectly. .DON`T BUY THIS GARBAGE. you can see how even in the video they try to excuse all the glitches.

You’re wrong, that’s for the regular FE. The FE+ has 8 & 12GB options like I said. Check the Samsung site
