I want a tablet with the sole purpose of taking it to college, taking notes and reading pdfs. But now I'm in doubt because they are both beautiful 😭

Got the s6 lite 2022 myself. Fits beter in my bag and the format is perfect. Use it for work every day to take notes and for pdfs. Also got it for almost half the price of the s7 fe on sale so it was a no brainer. If you like the bigger screen more and price isn't an issue, go for the s7 fe. Otherwise s6 lite. You will be fine either way!

@@Mentos069 the size is perfect for me, it's as big as the remarkable my colleague uses. If you can, you could go see them in person in store or see how you enjoy writing on smaller format overall on paper. The screen is pretty comparable to an a5 paper and the whole tablet to a b5 format one... just with the tablet you never run out of paper and can zoom in if you want to :)

@@Mentos069 I've had the s6 lite for a bit over a year now, I got it for taking notes in my senior year of high school. The battery life was at about 42 percent after using it throughout my 6 hour school day. I still use it even now and I'm very happy and it helps a lot taking notes in college.

That s7fe its huge. I have the s6lite and order an s7fe, im waiting for it to arrive. But I didn't saw any videos on them side by side and that screen is huge!😮

I held the S7 in store decided on the device I write this on. S7 felt too big and the price at double almost this and my new cellphone, well ended up with the smaller. The screen is way small in comparison. I may've taken S7 were the size good for me.

For me, I LOVE the size of tab s7 FE and I don't need a super fast processor because the hardest I'll ever push the tab would be if I watch a high resolution youtube video while note taking. I don't need lots of storage because it's expandable and the ram for me is okay since I don't use many apps.

Im sure you probably don't have time nor have been able to go without your Tab Tab S6 Lite 2022 due to needing for creating content but I would think that Samsung would or should replace your Tab S6 Lite with the screen bleed. I just finally broke down and traded in an older Samsung tab towards the Tab S6 Lite 128gb Blue. I also have the Tab S8 and I literally use it every day and every night all night long with KZread playing in the background whilst I sleep and I have some really crazy dreams lol. I know I shouldn't leave it playing while I'm asleep but now I don't think I could sleep without it right next to me. Lol. I really didn't need the Tab S6 Lite, especially having the Tab S8 but something about the S6 lite even up next to the S8 that it feels totally different in the hand. I guess it's the 10.4 inch being in real world a lot easier to handle but it's also a little thinner but it feels really dense and has a incredible feeling premium build. I just wished it had at least 90hrtz refresh rate. I'll be curious now which Tab I will end up using most often between my Tab S8 and the S6 Lite once it arrives. I'm thinking I'll end up grabbing the Tab S6 Lite now bevause it's real world from what I have felt in hand to be really be noticeably easier to handle and nearly do so with one hand even though on paper 10.4 vs 11 inch doesn't equate to a lot of difference. However when you compare both real world next to each other the difference is more than the paper suggests. I just hope that the performance will not make the S6 lite feel laggy because the S8 really is a beast when it comes to speed. If I could have afforded it, I would have kept my S8 and upgraded to the S9 Ultra. I have to imagine that 14.6 inch OLED display to be a blast. It's expensive. I also have the iPad 6th Gen mini 8.3 inch which I use occasionally but the battery life is so awful on it compared to my S8 that I can have changed to 100 percent late at night when I go to bed and it still won't last the entire night and I might sleep 5 hours if I'm lucky on a great night. I'm not sure if it even may have a bad battery. I'm going to probably get in touch with Apple support and I may have it looked at or possibly have apple replace the battery. 2022 S6 lite for the win! I prefer the smaller screen size over a 12 inch screen since its easier to hold. One thing I would've requested is the 128gb model come with 6 gigs of ram but hey, u can't win them all🤷🏾‍♂️

2 remarks: - the Wifi version of the S7FE is quite a bit faster than your 5G version (SD 778g vs 750g) -the battery life difference is likely due to the S7FE being brighter. At normal brightness, that is around half, which is already plenty. the FE has insane battery life, well over 10 hours, more than any other tablet I own, including all my iPads. (I have 5 pro and 3 minis)

I get 10 hours of OST on my S6 lite

I tried 2 models in person (in Best Buy) and I chose S7fe Now S7FE has major discount ($450 for 8/256) and it's no joke 8GB RAM is much better in the long run I wish it had better refresh rate (120Hz vs 60Hz) even though there's no difference when watching TV

@@user-eo8ys1wi3c It depends on which version of the S7 FE you get, 64gb, 128, or 256, with tablets they often come with more ram if you have more storage. It makes no sense why they do this, but hey it is what it is.

Very late but to touch upon external monitor support. The S7 FE's charging port supports USB 3.2 Gen1 data transfer speeds, while the S6 Lite port is only capable of USB 2.0 speeds which would not make for a good experience in terms of video.

What screen bleed? I'm watching on my S6 Lite OLD version and it's been amazing. I am a heavy content user, watching KZread in the morning and streaming Netflix, Prime, or Google TV in the early evening and I have to plug in after about 11-12 hours of use, and it's usually at the 20% mark! My only complaint is that at start up, it takes longer to boot up now. But I will not be giving up on my "baby" for quite some time. It's just that good! :)

So I went back to the store and they gave me an additional $40 off! I don't think I could get this tablet for less. It's practically brand new.

I would say S6 Lite just for the smaller size which is still almost too big.

I prefer 8 to 9 inches tablets but Idk why mobile companies keeps manufacturing bigger tablets. The reason why people buy a tablet cause they want it to be lighter than laptops so they can carry it around easily at work.

I need an advice. S6 lite has the perfect specs for me as I'm not using it for games. But where i live in Turkey they only got the 2020 version. Is there hope the 2022 s6 lite gets released in more countries or is it done now? As far as i know the new version was released in May 2022 but still nothing after 4 months, Is it normal it takes this long to be available or does this confirm it won't be released there? Should i wait or just buy the 2020 version? I won't use it for gaming it'll be my 1st tablet so i might be fully satisfied with the 2020. It's the S7 FE for me, the bigger screen real estate is WONDERFUL for drawing with complex app like Clip studio paint which has a lot of windows... I love how everyone have their own preferences in the comment 😊, great video!

Does it lag at all? I plan on saving up for it, dad recently became a trader because of money problems and i can really use my laptop that much anymore since he's the one always using it. Was this worth it as a drawing tablet?

@@manmode954 as a drawing tablet on the go, it's really worth it, but there is a few things you should consider.. For the most part it's not laggy, i use CSP with canvas size of at least 7000px (width and height combined) and 300dpi. when im nearing done with the illustration (colored and about 40-60 layers) it will get a bit slower, but not too extreme and still quite doable. I'm comparing it to my full on strong PC so i definitely feel the lag, but as i said, the lag still on the okay said even for me, its really is just a slight lag.. if you use big brushes to do a big stroke it will be lag, but my pc also lag when i did it, other thing like controlling 3d model within CSP can get pretty slow as well, but still doable. recording my drawing also makes it laggy when im far into the drawing. other than that, there's only good things for S7FE, the screen is BIG, so you can definitely put more picture on your tablet for references side by side with your illustration, the S-Pen also FEELS like home, the pen is REALLY nice even though it's a little bit on the lighter side (im used to big pen on my XP pen tablet) but it just preferences. My suggestion is to try and find a newer tablet that are okay on the price range, like xiaomi pad 6 or one plus tablet as they're basically newer and stronger, i bought this tablet on a hurry and newer gen tablet starting going out when i bought it. but as a drawing tablet, the big screen real estate, i have to say its really worth the penny. one more thing, if you feel like reading books on this tablet, its a bit too big to hold for a long period of time. Hopefully i helped you to get some sort of idea for your decision. Lemme know what you think~! and if you have more question just ask me

i returned the first one and the second one still had the issue so i had to decide if it was worth the effort of returning again or make videos with it, now i may be past the return policy unfortunately.

@@FishBeeProductions I would contact Samsung to see if this is a design issue since you're a tech reviewer, or you just had bad luck. I ask another reviewer about his 2022 S6 and he said look at his. I don't think he noticed or what.

Gone through 2 of these both had it one was worse as the bleed went down one side and then it developed a grouping of 4/5 dead pixels. Replacement has it really bad on the plug end of the device. This is all in the blue chassis. I have a gray one and it is fine. So it seems wherever Samsung is having the blue units made there is something misadjusted or some slop is in the assembly. To not mine all cam from Amazon and boxes were pristine. So it is a factory thing. With this I would just avoid the 2022 s6 lite. It also drains in standby in about 3 days. My old I mean OLD tab8 pro would last 2 weeks in standby.

is the writing experience on S7 FE feel better and smoother or it's just feel the same as S6 lite ?
