Hey Ivan, great review. I do a great amount of travel and am done carrying around my Lenovo laptop. I really want to move to a tablet for client zoom calls, to update my website and to blog from. Suggestions please.

I just bought the A9plus for my mom. Her tablet is sad. 16 gb storage, 2 gb ram... she cant even play bingo 😂 gonna be a very nice mothers day present.

On the A9+, did you notice any kind of ghosting effect when swiping? On mine, the icons and widgets on the home screens "smear" when swiping left or right to move between screens and recover when movement stops. It's really annoying and I don't know if it's "normal behavior" or it is somehow defective. (Refresh is set to adaptive, but it does the same when fixed to 60hz)

I wanted the tab a9 because my tab s7 fe was so uncomfortable to hold. I didn't want to get the tab a9+ because I didn't want to run into the same problem. The cover for the tab s7fe also has no side protection. I'm happy with the tab a9 it doesn't hurt as much if I drop it on my face😂

Do you know if these can be used as multi monitor over wifi big homie? Or does that take a S series?

Its been like 5 months since i bought The A9+, Honestly its great for the price being paid..

I got the A9 plus free from T mobile. I really like it so far. I just wanted it for basic things. I got the one with the lower storage and added an sd card for my pictures and documents cuz thats what takes up most of my storage space. Im replacing my chrome book with this. I really like the size and display is good for the price. I love that it has the Dex option so I can use as a laptop when needed.

Great review, but in the end you're only advice is: Do you want it big and with a better camera? Take the plus, do you want it small and with a strange placed, lesser placed camera, take the normal. But when you have made a decision about size and camera, there comes the next one: 64 gb/4 gb ram or 128/64 gb ram. For me: I would say 64 gb/4gb. I don't use a tablet that often, but I want to stream something and read something like a comic or a book. Just like my phone (although it has better specs and is older), but with a larger screen.

Can i use a pen for A9 i will buy it separately

Are pdfs readable on the A9?

Great video as always, Ivan. Does anyone know if when using the Samsung wearable app and Galaxy Buds Pro, Buds Live or Buds 2 earbuds you can use 360 Audio with the 9 Plus? I know it works on the S6 Lite.

nope. no 360 audios. yet the dolby atmos for movies works impressive for a tablet. got mine . also you can't connect in parallel 2 Bluetooth speakers.

I've got the A9 Plus, and I use it for newspaper reading, browsing, email, some light games...the specs are ok for me. The 2 negatives are the position of the headphone jack at the bottom edge and the slow charging time.

I went for the base since it fits my bag

A9 8.7 fits in your pocket you can take it everywhere. Their both good tablets. Their both fast. I have the A9 8.7.

I prefer 8" but sadly not yet available in Canada. My Tab A7 Lite has gotten more sluggish with the Android 14 update.

I'm near Toronto and just ordered the 8" base model from Amazon. I couldn't find the 8gb/128gb model anywhere though, I would have went for that instead.

I also noticed that on my a7 lite. Although the update did fix the L/R audio issue when streaming videos.

I bought the Tab A9 LTE. It is easier to read manga there than on my phone. LOL. Samsung should release a Tab S9 mini, just my two cents. 8 inch tablet is under rated.

Have u used any fast chargers long use on Samsung tabs I'm just wondering how they stand up as fast charging is bad for batterys I here just upgrading from an old Samsung tab to a Tab s9fe and the picture was quailty was alot better than I thort it would be I here it can take over 5 hours to charge in normal mode which is more than my old tablet so am abit dissappointed about that it's alright buying fast chargers but if the destroy the batterys what's the point

Yes I use nothing but 45W fast chargers on all of my devices; I have set them to stop charging at 85%, and I make sure not to charge or put my devices in situations when it's too hot. Fast chargers manufacturing companies claim that they don't do damage to devices, but it's one of those things you have to take with a grain of salt, and manage your devices the best you can.

Use a different SIM in your tablet with a new number and you'll have a different Whatsapp account.

I've got the A9 this January and im quite happy with it. Its only weak point for me is the screen resolution, but i don't care much. I also own a 5.9 inch phone (Galaxy A40), which I gotta repace soon, but nowadays phones are quite large (6.5-6.7 inch). So my doubt is: does it make sense to have such a large phone and the A9? I got the A9 coz I wanted a portable tablet, but I think that I may end up doing with my large phone much of what I'm currently doint with my A9 (reading news, magazines, streaming...)

@crestafan3703 Hi! I'm not a heavy user, I use the tablet mainly for reading, browsing the Internet and streaming. Every day I may use it about 1-2 h. The last time I charged it was 3 days ago and it's still above 60%. Compared to my previous S6 Lite, I noticed that the battery of the A9 lasts a bit longer.

The s9 ultra is your best bet is more powerful amd it comes with the s pen too but it cost a lot more

No ... i tried using the keyboard from s9 fe plus and s9 plus and it doesnt work for tab a9+

Personally the small one is much better for me. Over anything (except performance) i value ease of typing and handling.

I'm buying the A9 128GB LTE version purely for portability. I don't know why the 8" tablet doesn't have 5G which would have made it even better. I still have a Tab S7 but it's very heavy, too big, and not very good for using on public transport and aeroplanes.

A9 plus is better, bigger and more ram

I wish a9 to have the same specs as the activ5.

I'm offended, as I watch this on my Tab A7 Lite😂😂😂😂

Another reminder that yes the A9+ does have the 90hz adaptive refresh rate which means it going to switch between 90 & 60hz as needed, just set it to 60hz and you will get better performance overall

I got A9 and S9+, A9 is cheap, small and i don't worry about taking it with me on public transport to watch or read. S9+ stays at home or in my backpack for when i need to draw or take notes. Tab 9FE is a more premium A9 with a pen.

I want this a9 tab because it’s cheap but I’m trying to think which one is better the a9 or a9+ like generally? I stay at home most of the time but if I go out the @9+ win’s be that good so I need help😅

If you wanna work with it get a s6 lite for the stylus but if you want it as a KZread Netflix thing then get 9plus

Go for a9+ but it doesn't have palm rejection that's why i didn't choose A series cause I'm looking for a tab with large display and palm rejection. If you're the one who takes digital notes you should go for tab which has palm rejection like samsung s7fe s9 s7 I'm planning to get s7fe next month.

Anyone know that game that he was playing where he was running from the cops?

Use tablet as your home device and when you go outside of home take phone with you in pocket Btw a52 has still 2 to 3 years of software update so still very usable

TFT lcd screen . Fine and gets the job done in terms of reading. Just make sure you have eye care on and low brightness

I wish we could do gaming on a9 here

would rather get a xiaomi pad 6, sd 8 gen 2 is really a bang for the buck

What if I have the dual speaker setup and one of the speakers is facing down my bed. I use it like that a lot, tilt it towards a pillow, watch something to fall asleep. Will the other speaker do well enough alone?
