It seems to me that the s22 ultra still defends itself very well, even though it came out 2 years ago, it was still a top of the range. Good video

Problem with that phone is the battery life and thermals. Apart from those really important issues it's still perfect.

Surprising to see that 2 years old S22 Ultra's dynamic range is far better than others two!

Very good comparison. However in my opinion i think it would be better if you show first the 1x zoom photo when comparing the zoom levels. I think it would add a better perspective to the comparison. Just my opinion. Great zoom review

Hello friend, I'm Vietnamese and I'm currently using the Snapdragon version of s22ultra. Compared to the exynos2200 version, the image on the Snapdragon version will be a bit sharper and brighter.

Has anyone else had issues with the speaker being muffled? Top and bottom spealers both are this way and i checled to see it its dirty and nothing is blocling them. I reset my phone, rebooted from factory reset. The s22 ultra reviews read others habing issues but i cant find how to get rid of it. I have tried doing things other reviewed videos ha e said could fix it and nothing. I am thunking its the actual phone i have may be messed up but idk. I need to get another s22 ultra if its my phone or upgrade if its just how s22 ultra is. So does this happen to anyome else?

I really lile this video. I see slight differences but not for the price honestly. I have an s22 ultra a d debated upgrading to an s24 ultra because I heard the camera is better according to Google. As for the actual review I don't see a huge difference. I have a 1tb phone so I can only order it from Amazon since no carrier has it. The only issue I have had is the speaker in the phone I bought s22 ultra is scratchy/sounds muffled. I have read reviews that the s22 ultra has the issue. So I was debating upgrading to a s23 ultra or s24 ultra.

Really depends on the setting. Directors view is better, hopefully they can get it right for the S24. Night mode shots definitely better with the S24 and S23, S22 still good in daylight and at 10 zoom

I have a question. I have a strange issue with the S22 Ultra's zoom. When I zoom in 10x, 15x, 19x everything is sharp as a razor but when I cross 20x and I have, let's say 20.4x zoom the texture on the photographed object vanishes. The object becomes as smooth as a baby bottom. The phone uses the same 10x 4.9 lens so there's a software issue. Does your S22 Ultra have the same problem or do I just have a faulty unit?

Which chipset and One UI version are you on? My S22 Ultra is the Snapdragon variant with One UI 6.0 and every zoom range works totally fine. I tried 30x and 100x and all shots were great.

Hope in the night time videos you uave disabled the auto lens switching in camera assistant...otherwise it uses 3x instad of 10x sometimes or 1x instead of 3x or 10x

I like to take landscape photos and must say i really like that 5 times periscope lens of s24 ultra. I barely used 10x zoom on s23 ultra, maybe for photo of some wild bird onence every 2 months, not often. 3x on s23 ultra was basically useless for landscape shots , due to 10mp resolution.

Well, it's all a matter of personal preference. As I explained in this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/i6ColrmEg7PWfco.html 5X zoom is basically the actual distance between you and the subject. 9-10X is when you really start seeing a zoomed object. Anyway, thanks for watching the video and stay safe.

Night shots on S24 Ultra without night mode on are trash and not comparable to the other 2. Totally agree with you, the 5x lens is a downgrade and they should have changed the 10x to 50MP, that would be great if possible but how would they sell the S25 ultra if the S24 is perfect?

10x with 50mp?! To get even less light in? They should have upgraded the 3x to 50mp. Than they would have kept the insane 10x, and still upgraded the range between 3-10

People should take in consideration the s23 and s22 already have alot of updates that improved the cameras massively since launch, the s24 didn't get a single update, not even one. Let them cook guys. Im sure it will get far better

Hopefully. However, the updates have brought some improvements on the S22 / S23 Ultra not massive improvements. I actually think that the S23 Ultra still have room for improvements. 5X on the S24U is bad in daytime photos in comparison with the previous generations however it's better in the night time shots! S21U to S24U (3 years difference), minor optimization differences with almost the same camera hardware which means it doesn't justify the huge price tag! With the S21U you get the 16GB RAM while you don't get it on the S24U 12GB Max! With the S21U you get the 10X optical Zoom lens while you don't get it on the S24U! Charging speed is the same 45W for the past 6 years! The lack of privacy options like 'AppLock', 'Private Space' and 'Multiple Users' and you only have the Secure Folder which creates a second instance of an app and not protecting the main app in the main space for example you can't protect the main File Manager and the Gallery apps in the main space instead, you create a second instance of them using the Secure Folder!!!!! No IR Blaster as a remote to control all devices with your smartphones! Is the S24U worth the insanely high price tag among the cheaper competitors? I don't think so! There are many android competitors that offer these features for half the price! Thank you brother for your valuable and outstanding videos! I really like it!

It generally goes back and forth between the S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra. Between the 2, the S23 Ultra. Mainly because of the 4K portrait video, slightly better 30X-100X zoom though I prefer most pics outdoors and the video quality on the S22 Ultra. A shame of the jittery when panning around. This is a tough one, because I have viewed other channels and the S24U has been clearly better. One KZreadr - kzread.info/dash/bejne/gHabsKV9dZXRY7Q.html&ab_channel=VelianSpeaksTech came up with interesting view in his comparison video. I will say this - compare two or three S23U's and there will be some differences. Same for the S24U. There is always slight differences even between the exact same model! The 3x camera is just about filling the gap. if the sensor was slightly larger in size and had 50mp, it would be better. Look at the Oppo Find X7 Ultra. That phone a good camera setup. The only issue is that it is not on general sale! I am still happy with my S23U, even if is missing any features on S24U.

Well, I can't speak based on someone else's findings just on my own. So far, I think the S23 Ultra is overall better. The more I test the S24 Ultra the less impressed I am, and this is from someone who has never been particularly super impressed by the s23 Ultra either. So far, the switch to 5X optical zoom has not really brought the promised obvious improvements. The S24 Ultra is supposed to be better across the board, not sometimes worse, some other times on par or slightly better. Thanks for watching the video. Stay safe.

You're welcome!! Someone pointed out in one of the comments that the reason why the video was so dark at 4K 60fps was because of the auto fps was turned off so I checked last night and the auto fps is on by default but 4K 60fps/ 30fps on the S23 Ultra and only 4K 30fps on the S24 Ultra. It looks it just 4K 30fps on the S22 Ultra, no way to change it. I changed it to 4K 60fps and 30fps on the S24 Ultra and YES, it's now brighter. However, it's still a little bit brighter and sharper on the S23 Ultra but I'm glad it's better now. I was not happy with that darkness. It should come with both fps by default like on the S23 Ultra. What? It's just darker, which can be easily adjusted in postprocessing or by manually increasing brightness during taking the picture. But the level of noise is waaay lower than on S23. You can see it especially when the Night mode is ON and the brightness levels are comparable.

I think it is quite good to be fair. My eye can certainly detect that artificial contrast boosted look that digital zoom brings though, and it just ISN'T and will NEVER be the match for the pure realistic look of an optical zoom system. As a money saving venture from Samsung however, I think it is quite a good result in terms of it's only slightly reduced quality.

I think the S22U and S23U still take just as good, if not better, images than the S24U. Most of the time the S24U images look ever so slightly out of focus.
