Traded in my 14 Pro Max for this 2 weeks ago. Phone is truly a "do everything" phone. Battery easily lasts me sun up to sun down and then some, cameras slap in damn near every situation, phone is blazing fast. Like damn - if you want a phone that gives you everything but the kitchen sink this is it.

I charge my 14 PM once in 2 to 3 days. So far, I'm satisfied going back to Apple after using Samsung for 5 years. S23 is nice too.

​@@t.p.0104I'll probably end up doing the same. I go with whatever phone suits my needs for the time being. Nowadays work requires me to have a great battery, great camera, and need to capture info frequently. 14PM handled it well, but the S23U does it better for me.

​@@xNSHDI play for both teams lol. I just go with whatever tech suits my needs the most at the time. The 14PM was a beast for the time, but now my life has different needs and my tech needed to adapt.

It cool that samsung improved a bit currently a samsung galaxy s21 user,going to try the iPhone 15 pro or pro max.

Good lock is still stock one ui software. It’s an app from Samsung and only available on the Samsung store and has many apps inside to fix and tweak one ui to your preferences

I'd argue that's not stock one ui software in that case. If you reset your phone to factory conditions - and the app isn't installed, it isn't stock. OEM app for sure.

Do you use camera lens protector? If not, how is the cam lens hodling up?

I'd spend the extra for the 12/512. That extra ram will help the longevity of the phone. Look at the 256gb 23+ as it's significantly cheaper if your on a budget.

I have access to a 8gb ram model and it’s super fast surprisingly even though we did try to get the 12gb. Hasn’t lagged and then there is a internal storage used as extra upto 8gb ram setting as well. So you have options. I got a iPhone 13 now unfortunately did try it for two years but I’m a android head thru and thru so s24 ultra i most likely am getting. I heard it might go upto 16gb ram.

Did the form factor influenced anything? Regarding this phone's reviews on KZread, it seems to be the elephant in the room no one talks about. I did go see and feel the phone irl at a Samsung store, and was very surprised by its size as well as the pointy corners, that dug into my hand while I was holding it. I'm actually consider getting a s23+ because of this

I'll probably going for the S23 Ultra instead over the Z Flip 5 before I could wait for the S24 Ultra next year. But I'm gonna get either the 256GB or 512GB (if available) because my S22 Ultra is slowly running out of storage (that's what I get for owning the 128GB variant).

Just spend your time on your phone for a little longer. If you fear running out of storage, either use Terabox 1TB free cloud storage or buy an external storage.

Crazy I got a old pixel Xl with 128gb internal storage and it’s not even poofed yet (I do only use it for games particularly emulation now) the only thing that’s shot away is the battery lol. I do know Samsung uses more storage but it’s worth it samsung Knox which isn’t mentioned is why it take a second to start up and why Samsung is the most secure phone of the androids. Knox is almost as good as apple’s security.

I don’t use anything 🤣 most face wash ruins my skin so I just use water and a cloth, cocoa butter to moisturize

I think this is easy the best phone of 2023. I am using it like 3 mounths already. Beofre that I had Pixel 6 pro and Iphone 13 pro. Iphone is garbage. Yes its nicely build, good screen amazing chip but tetris OS that can not use that power. Its so funny how bad was I feeling using Iphone instead of Android Phone. Pixel is remarkable at showing how the specs are not everything that matters. Also how smooth it feels, and AMAZING photo q. Pixel is the best for system and camera, but to much to pay for 4 year old exynos, so you dont have a room to breath if you thinking long term. Maybe they can pul out something amazing with that low spec phone but why to bother if you can buy S23 ultra that is top notch in everyting. (except stock system that I like and camera pictures)

Well I’m def upgrading my iPhone 13 mini next week for the Ultra and I couldn’t be any more happier.. just wish TMobile had more colors to choose from. But since my mom has this phone and I’ve been playing with it.. i can’t wait to leave the apples eco-system even more so. 😍🙂

You're a west cost guy :). I know that block you're on. People might say nit picking when talking about small issues but at that price point compared to its contemporaries, thats all we have because phones have gotten really good. At $1k+ it cant be mid range "good enough" territory. ✌

Your problems aren't Samsung's problems. It's not Samsung's problem that social media appa aren't optimized for Android. It's also not Samsung's problem that Android Auto is trash. That's a Google problem. The shutter lag is Samsung's problem and they fixed it oneui 6

​@NaseemSpeach Samsung should just fix it altogether without having the camera quality be compromised for quick shutter speeds. I saw the new settings and was shocked at how quick it was when it was put on minimum. They said cameras are supposed to be improved and this August update (Not One UI 6.0) is also supposed to have some camera improvements and is starting to roll out for the Galaxy S23 models so let's see what really happens when we have stable Android 14 and the stable One UI 6.0

Thanks dude for Highlighting fundamental issues of Android, issues like 1- No proper backup restore like iCloud. 2- Emojis are flat and cartunish. 3- Android auto is straight 💩. Biggest issue is incoming calls r never shown on phone itself. 4- Social media apps are designed better for iOS biggest example is WhatsApp and Instagram. Also camera quality is worse in social media apps. 5- Monthly Security patches - These doesn't make any sense I mean these r basically bug fixes on the name of security. And guess what, an operating system needs monthly Security Patches lol? Feels like a lesser secured os. They should change the name of security patch builds to something like Enhancement builds. Thanks for highlighting most of the issues I wrote 💗💗.

Yes! This! I can’t comment on android auto since i last had an android it was before that. But the other listed issues are mainly why i switched. The social media and camera quality are an issue tied to the same cause: compatibility. The vast amount of android phones by various manufacturers is the main reason. Android being so open source (which is awesome) is also a down side. I really want to switch to the s23 ultra and I still might as a second phone to switch out when I want.
