Thank you very much for this tutorial! One question regarding the biometric fingerprint recognition: when set, is the fingerprint itself shared with SAMSUNG (transmitted to SAMSUNG during the setup - whatever the reason they could come up with)? If so, then I'll only use the password option.

I got my s22 plus about 2 weeks ago. It's been A while since I liked a phone so much. I did like my note 20 but this one is amazing. I got a screen protector and a case for it. This is the first S line phone i ever got and got it about week after it came out

I have an S22 ultra and yeah at first the battery does drain faster than normal. The phone takes a couple weeks to learn your usage patterns. There are alot of tweaks you can do as well, to get better battery life. :)

and thats just standard. There are far better launchers (basically a computer desktop or the interface of the phone) such as nova launcher that offer a ton more options, then there are debloated/degoogled secure roms that use free and open source software to protect your privacy like migroG (linux based).... followed by icon custiomizing, different widgets, things like tasker and ifttt, gesture controls, voice controls, apps let that you put passwords or pins to open individual apps..... This video is literally just scratching the surface. Apple is very very rigid by comparison. You made a great choice switching over.

I also have an s9 and im thinking about upgrading to this . I wanted the z flip originally, but I hear it's having lots of issues concerning the crease darkening then eventually spreading to entire screen.

Mine was an upgrade from an S8... Which still works flawlessly btw, unlike most of Apple's programmed obsolescence xD

Jimmy I been watching your videos since I got the s9+. I upgraded 4 years later and got the s22 Ultra. My first smartphone was a Samsung Fascinate( 1st Galaxy). 4 years later ,I got the Galaxy S5. 4 years later S9+. 4 years later S22 Ultra. Never had any issues with them, most reliable and durable flagship phones. Samsung never says die!😂

I'm about to make the same switch as you! My s9+'s fingerprint scanner has been broken for a while, and I'm thinking I'm going to miss the iris scanner on the s22 ultra, but no other phone seemed as good for me.

@@poponachtschnecke Do it! You will notice a big difference in battery life. I kept having to put my s9+ on the charger a lot. The battery lasts soo long on the Ultra.

Are you for real? We almost had the same phone from Samsung Fascinate, S5, but mine was S9 and the s22 Ultra.

The full frame for the sensor is 3:4 not 9:16. You'll get higher quality at 3:4. Take an image at both 9:16 and 3:4. The 3:4 will have higher quality. This also goes for most professional cameras like the Sony a6000 series and ar series. This is particularly the reason why 108mp works only in 3:4.

@@tomyanouss3458 Always leave it at 4:3 for higher quality without cropping. The "im the old school type of person I like to have it 9:16" is total bullshit and actual "old school" is 4:3.

​@@tomyanouss3458 (talking about regular non-zoomed photos) It uses both 108MPx and 12MPx camera sensors for photos whether you use "108MPx 3:4" mode or not. It combines data from both sensors into one image. Difference is that "108MPx 4:3" mode doesn't downscale the image resolution - so it should have a bit superior quality, but takes more disk space and cpu processing time after each photo. For a majority of people the regular downscaled photo (around 4MB disk space) is enough :)

I'm always using Nova Launcher since day one. So much nicer to scroll,Swype One Hand instead the 3 buttons at the bottom. And to customise your homescreen,icons,and kwgt widgets. Outdoors brightness never at automatic,but manual. Thanks for this video and best regards from me Amsterdam The Netherlands 🇳🇱 Dark mode,and inside home my brightness is around 40%.

Love all your tips. One correction, on the selfie picture mode. When you turn on Dave selfies as preview, it actually does not flip them. So keep that OFF to be able r to read on the picture.

I'd say the most useful tip in this video is the animation scale. This available on every android; not really necessary when you have the power. Entry level phones benefit from this the best.

As it relates to the selfie camera setting, if you have the "save selfie as previewed on" it will save your photos in reverse. If you have it off it will flip it (which is the correct method) so your images are readable if there is any wording or branding involve in the image.

Great Video. I noticed that my 'Dark Mode' has grey bubbles when in any settings menu as well as grey and black keyboard. Is this carrier specific? Do you know how to get a true dark mode?

You can use gboard as your keyboard and remove key borders and add black image as keyboard wallpaper to have a true black keyboard

I just ordered this. I decided I would go into my Note 10+ to check the settings and it has the majority of these! I had NO idea!!

I'm interested in where you got your red a pen? I would like to have a replacement in case I lose my black a pen. The red would be easy to locate versus the black

Biggest thing for me out of this video is the Extra Dim mode, that's pretty cool because I found this phone is still too bright at it's lowest setting while in bed. Thanks!
