TEST NOTES:
- The standard drops (back, corner, and face) are conducted from 1m onto a concrete block.
- The "bonus" drops are meant to test impact and shock resistance, therefore are conducted from 1.45m onto a smooth steel surface.
- The bonus "bonus" round is conducted from 1.45m onto a concrete block.

The clip isn't scratching it. The frosted black is actually taking metal off the clip. Kind of like sanding it off. Not a scratch

the curved screen is gonna be the worst part. tempered glass screen protectors don't like to stick, and that curved edge is where all the cracks are gonna start. its whaat killed my note 10+, it was in an otterbox defender and still cracked from 4 feet.

Not only that, you might have been an android user for the last 10 years. But what does being an android, has anything to do with Samsung? There's literally tons of android, and which did you use for the PAST 10 YEARS!? Samsung is more sleeky to hold, and more futuristic by looks. If I'm being practical, the same structure of the current set of iphone will be used till Iphone 14. Take that L.

@@aaronvarkey You clearly misunderstood me me being an android user for 10 years means i was true hater when it came to iphones and ios I admit it but after I really gave iphone a chance I found out that I was so wrong not only its not as bad as you fanboys want it to be it's actually better in some ways I was using mostly samsung devices from s2 to note 10 plus which I still have it in case I decide that iphone is not my thing and tbh both are great I've tested s21 ultra on a local samsung store it looks good ngl but those edges are not "futuristic" at all in fact they are kinda outdated and companies are going for a more flat design from now on mark my word! You can see how much most youtubers are complaining about the edge design it surely looks good but it has more disadvantages than a flat design Give iphone 12 a try in your local store without any biased opinion although i find it hard for you to do after seeing your last comment lol

Finally they uploaded.
The "scratches" from the clip are likely material from the clip embedded in the frosted glass textured finish. Not actual scratches to the glass. You should be able to buff them away.

The clip probably didn't scratch the phone. The frosted texture of the glass likely sanded down some of the metal from the clip which is what creates the mark. Jerryrigeverything explores this in his video :)

@@laurenwortman8695 No, it’s Ceramic Shield while it might only be on the front glass it makes a HUGE difference. While on the glass it is more protected by the Stainless Steel because of its “IPhone 4” design.

If you go to Everything apple pro channel the 12 pro max barley survived and its back was very cracked but the front also had cracks but not as much as the back. The s21 ultra on the other hand was stronger im also confused with the results.

If the back cracks its cheap to replace on s21 ultra as its just a cover where as if the back cracks on iphone basically need a new phone

Btw. those scratches and scuffs your seeing isn't the glass that's scratched, it's the actual metal shavings left on the phone.. But regardless, it does make the phone look scratched up..

I feel Apple going to be on top for a long time with these drop test, they did a good job with the ceramic s Displays.
Amazing that the iPhones over the past couple of years have been consistently very far ahead of basically every Android phone in terms of drop durability. How is it nobody’s caught up to Apple yet?

It hurts that the iPhone with it's way stronger chips is not faster in everyday usage. For rendering the iPhone clearly is better, but for rendering I use more capable PCs.
One thing don't understand I have j3 2017 and the first drop was a tiny drop screen cracked in the corner and then the second drop it landed on screen from head height and no cracks
Always use a case, I have and it’s never broken. Glass breaks...
