The back plastic of my phone is cracked and your video is a LIFESAVER. Just have to ask, what are the ways you can tell a new back covering is good quality?

I saw that the origin camera's glass is still in very good condition. Why don't you just move it all to the new backcover instead of moving a small piece of flash ?

Hi, I was working with my S20FE removed the back panel and notice a piece of the O ring on the top camera lens is damaged, is it something important? Edit: nah I see the same small cur on it like the stock and replacement back panels. Seem like I mistakenly think it is an damaged part but turn out it isn't.

Try eBay...you may not find the flashlight diffuseur I'd advice getting the back cover with it alredy attached.

What are all those white stickers? Do we need to move them over?

They are pieces that you can transfer to the new back cover (some are not removable) you can try to transfer them if you want it's not mandatory (I didn't transfer them on this one) on the s21 ultra last year I transferred almost all of them but it doesn't matter so much functionally on most of these smartphones (maybe that's why they didn't bother having them on the new back cover.

Will depend on the quality of the back cover and back double sided tape. It's simply safer to avoid water after you do a repair (specially submerging the device). I have another video I tested a s21 water resistance after repair and 😂😂😂 survived but needed repair again

I'd just go and put a cristal back cover instead to make it more premium 😂

How bad is the quality of this back cover compared to the original?

Compared to the original it's very close. The issues primarily are the double-sided tape mainly around the camera bezel. They can be old and not sticking too much you'd have to add glue or return for a better back cover. The tape on the back itself also sometimes if you choose the cheapest option you will get very very thin black tape that won't stick for long after installation. Make sure you get a back with type of grayish color double sided tape and even ask the seller if the cameras bezel is strongly stuck or if it's hanging and with a push it will fall. I had those multiple times the camera bezel was not properly attached due to poor double sided tape or packaging/handling of the back cover which will put unnecessary pressure on the camera bezel and push it out of the back cover. All these can be rectified with added b7000 if necessary.

@@ersbit Great, my current back cover is not damaged it just doesn't match the colour of the screen rim. I ordered the correct coloured back cover and it looks the same as the one in this video with green tape. I don't want to sacrifice any of the phones functionality just to change its colour, so as long as the new back cover is not weaker or with a poor quality camera bezel I will be happy to replace.
