The bg noise cancelling on the Galaxy Note10+ is outstanding. The Galaxy Note10+ camera quality is amazing in most cases. Best overall.

Note 10 mic is incredible. I gotta say I think I prefer most of the Note images during the day. IMO

sorry but it’s not, especially they copied the zoom for audio from htc, and they did that even better some years ago and the iphone is much better in terms of HDR, color correctness and overall picturequality, especially in video too

In dark scenes, I think both of these do a better job than what phones like the P30 Pro and Pixels do. I'm not a fan of night looking like noon.

I'd buy Note 10+. Definitely.

There are controls now to switch off the glamour enhancements, much better photos than shown here

Note 10 is better in every situation & especially at night. Now with nightmode, it has better brightness, detail and highlight control at night than XS. Iphone just has the better video at night, in my opinion. And please, the skin tones on iphone are straight outta Trump's genes !

Note 10+ hands down especially nightshots. Even Note 9 is better overall than the iPhone Xs Max. I don't know why people keep insisting that the skin tone is better on the iPhone with that constant orange tinge. I can easily know when a picture is taken with an iPhone because of that.

Seems like a cultural difference in relation to beauty, not to go bring out stereotypes but Western culture tends towards a warmer skin tone look as displayed on the iPhone where as in Eastern culture a paler look would be prefered. In my opinion both cameras are great and don't have that much difference between them in regards to the details that is captured. The right filter on each phone can tweak them towards the look you would go for...

Note 10 for everything. Lol. Some of the things you guys point out are just not important to me. I want my picture to look good.

Can’t believe how far we have come with smartphone cameras. As you said both have differences according to preference; however, both have amazing cameras! Slight win to the Note 10 although I prefer iPhone XS Max when it comes to video image stabilization.

I hate oversharpening that smartphone manufacturers apply on images. The only phones that sometimes oversharpens but doesn't look bad are the pixel phones. I was so disappointed with my oneplus 6's camera but after using gcam mod I am slightly satisfied now😒

Very tough, I'd say the Note 10+ edges ever so slightly with that wide angle.

So I walked into bestbuy here FULLY expecting to walk out with a Samsung note 10+, but, curiosity got the better of me and I started playing around with the iPhone 11 pro max and was extremely impressed with the camera. Usually I make cracks about iPhone's cameras but I must say it impressed me so much I walked about with nothing, because I couldn't decide. When I was testing them in store taking videos and pictures and whatnot(hard to do with anti theft tethers) the iPhone 11's camera was so good and clear and crisp compared to the s10 note plus. Now I'm looking up comparison videos and they both seem really good. That that ultra wide 4k looks pretty winning, as well as the image stabilization. REally good in depth review, thanks you. Still completely undecidied. lol.

It should be no surprise that the Note 10 series does a lot of things better than the iPhone Xs Max given the Note 10 series is a newer phone. I'd like for you to do another comparison whenever the iPhone 11 comes out. I really really hope that Apple doesn't disappoint.

Thx Danny👏👍🏾😀!! I enjoyed the iPhone XS Max’s pics more than the Note 10’s. As Danny was saying, about the wide angle camera on the Note 10 is an awesome asset. But, at the end of day, I need the realness that the iPhone’s camera shoots. At the beginning though, the sound quality was won by the Note 10.

Comments like this are stupid. As much as I would love to avoid these it’s 2019. We don’t need this. What’s clear is how fair I am in every comparison video I do. Who else is taking over 300 images to compare? Who else is analyzing this deep into multiple images? I am talking the good and the bad for each phone. Just because you don’t get the answer you want in a video automatically I am a “Apple Fanboy”. Add some actual facts and substance to your comments besides calling someone a fanboy. It takes time and effort to do these comparisons and multiple days and nights to obtain and edit these videos.

if you turn the brightness down while taking the pictures of samsung at night, the colors will look better

I am glad u took many pics compared to other KZreadrs who take limited pics ... especially u took many night mode pics to show the versatility

Note 10+ camera does make the overall scene better compared to iPhone in most scenarios. Great video..!!

For the photos I go with Samsung For video iPhone

Xs max not that bad in some cases eg: hdr on flowers. But in dark scenes the note 10 + is much better ! Win for samsung in my opinion

FYI: Apple iPhone ISP could render real time HDR, and that's the reason why the exposure on iPhone always consistance. where on the Note 10+ it only active when it needed. And the smart HDR active when there's a high contras scene between highlight and shadow. but when it compare with HDR on the Note 10+ iPhone is loosing behind.

I'm impressed with the ffc black and white background and color foreground separation well done Samsung.

Both have pros and cons! I like 80% note 10+ images , 15% iPhone images & 5% tie. IMO, Note 10+ won!

Im Note fan, but I have to give it to the iPhone. Better colors, dynamic range... I dont like the oversharpening that Note do all the time.,but love the wide angle camera, its tough decision

ShinyNyancat you’ve clearly didn’t watch the entire video or you’re just being ignorant. Just because an image is brighter and has more contrast that doesn’t mean its a better picture. At a point he even mentioned that for an overall camera performance he would pick the note 10 but some people are clearly biased on hating apple.

I’m a note fan, but the recording audio in the xs max is better for the first time, ever!! Lol

3:00 you can see how the Note 10 picks up some temporal distortion between those powerlines

Yea and there is even a Pro camera mode and when you take a picture you get the JPG file and the RAW file which is actually a big deal for me (Lightroom user) :)

Looking at your vidoes the front-facing video of the Samsung seems truer to how you actually look. You look pinker on the iPhone.

My unbiased opinion is that I prefer the Iphone over the Note10+ here, and im not even a Apple user i cant stand this brand... Matter fact Im a LG guy !

At 00:10. Where does all that noise and breeze sound came from for the iPhone. Its awful.

iPhone is better. Better skin. None of that beauty gate the Samsung has.

Iphone is best for videos other compration proves also iphone has best dynamic range in videos and photos, it can do cinematic videos 24 fps that note cant, and extended dynamic range in 4k 30 fps, natural photo details, etc panorama, in 63 mp, and skin tone is much better note skin tone looks like ghost

I thought the iPhone front camera made your skin a bit too orangey. Other than that, both cameras do a great job.
